Lauren Goodger has revealed that she lost three stone in the wake of the tragic death of her baby newborn daughter.
The 36-year-old former TOWIE star’s baby daughter Lorena was born in July 2022 with her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and lost her life.
The birthing tragedy came after Lauren’s ex-partner Jake McLean was killed in a car crash in Turkey, then in a matter of weeks

Lauren and boyfriend Charles Drury, who had been dating since October 2020, then separated following his arrest after an alleged assault at her Essex home on the night of their daughter’s funeral.
The harrowing grief Lauren experienced following Lorena’s death meant she was unable to eat, but she has put on a stone as her mental health has improved.
Speaking to OK!, she said: ‘I lost nearly three stone after I lost Lorena because of the stress. I didn’t eat. I’m now eating again and I’ve put a stone back on because I’m being more healthy.

‘I stayed indoors and I didn’t go out, and now I feel I’m in a better place mentally. This year is about focusing on me and getting back on track.’
The TV personality also said that her 18-month-old daughter Larose – who she has with Charles – has been a ‘rock’ for her and without she wouldn’t have been able to have survived Lorena’s death.
She said: ‘She’s the best. She makes me so proud every single day. She’s unbelievable. She’s my rock.
‘After everything I went through, Larose is definitely my inspiration. She inspires me and she’s kept me going through the hardest times. Without her, I wouldn’t survive.’

It comes after after Lauren opened up about her ‘hellish’ 2022 after the tragic loss of her baby daughter Lorena and a bitter split with her partner.
Speaking to MailOnline at The Inspiration Awards in London recently, Lauren reflected on the ‘massive trauma’ she has been through over the past 12 months.
She said: ‘I’ve been through massive trauma, I’m not gonna sugarcoat it but everyone knows and I feel like one day I want to inspire other women.’

Lauren said she finds her strength in being a mother to her daughter Larose, who she shares with her ex-boyfriend Charles.
It is understood that their relationship ended bitterly last year, and at the funeral of their second daughter Lorena, it is alleged Lauren was attacked.
Charles, 25, was later arrested and bailed following the incident.

She said: ‘Larose, my daughter, I think being a mum to the most amazing little girl I’ve ever had in my life.
‘Like, she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And I am a very strong person. I’ve been through a lot. And I feel like I want to be there…
‘I’m strong, independent and I want to inspire young girls and other mum that are going through similar things. And just you know like, everything happens for a reason and just don’t like… life goes on.’
In July, Lauren confirmed the tragic news of her newborn Lorena’s death in an Instagram post, explaining she was born ‘without complications’ prior to her death.
Only a few days before the death of her daughter, her ex boyfriend Jake McClean tragically died in a car accident that has left his on-off partner Yazmin Oukhellou seriously injured.
Jake, who was 33, was driving in Bodrum, Turkey on Sunday when his car crashed over a hill before emergency services rushed to save him.
