Lauren Mand DISAPPEARS from Instagram and opens a private account after being trolled

Lauren Mand has deactivated her public Instagram profile and opened up a new account which she has kept private.

The 31-year-old has long been targeted by vicious trolls over her relationship with Jimmy Bartel following his split from ex, Nadia.

And the online abuse appeared to have gotten so distressing, that the office worker deleted her Instagram page and set up a personal account with just a few followers. 

Jimmy and Lauren were first pictured as a couple in August 2019, after the AFL star announced his separation from wife Nadia.

However, Lauren has frequently been subjected to cruel trolls, and back in August was targeted by a ‘hate account’ on Instagram.

The profile, which is run anonymously, uploaded several cruel posts about Lauren and her relationship with the retired AFL player.

Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting Nadia Bartel approves of the account or is even aware of its existence.

Lauren has always maintained a dignified silence despite the online vitriol.

Her romance with Jimmy has also gone from strength-to-strength with the pair recently celebrating their one-year anniversary.

‘Three hundred and sixty five days. Thanks for the artwork, it’s going straight to the pool room,’ she wrote in tribute, alongside an image of herself and Jimmy as ‘Simpsons’ characters.

Jimmy and Nadia announced their separation on August 15 last year, but they are believed to have actually split two months prior.  

They share custody of two children, sons Aston, four, and Henley, one.
