Law graduate, 25, reveals how she cleared up her acne and scarring with $49 ‘glory oil’

A law graduate who had tried endless lotions and potions to clear up her acne and prolonged scarring has revealed how a simple $49.95 oil eased it in a matter of months.

Georgie Stevenson, 25, from Queensland said she has been through hell and back with her skin, after a bout of adult acne left her with scars, before she cleared them up and got acne and then scarring again.

That was until she discovered Glory Oil by Australian brand Eco by Sonya Driver, and applied it to her skin.

Within just four months, Georgie said her skin looks and feels better – and her confidence has been restored.

Speaking about her second round of acne, Georgie said she developed it in December.

‘Luckily for me it didn’t last too long, but I was AGAIN left with scars,’ she said.

‘Last time, I had really bad pitted scars and got some in-clinic skin treatments done (skin needling and peels) to heal them, but I wanted to try something less invasive this time.’

What is in Glory Oil?

Inca Inchi: This ancient Peruvian omega abundant super seed oil high in antioxidants and the ultimate anti-ageing & healing ingredient.

Acai Fruit Oil: This is an antioxidant powerhouse and helps protect the skin from environmental aggressors and reduces the appearance of ageing and helps to restore moisture balance.

Pumpkin Seed Oil: This is rich in vitamin E, zinc, omega 3- and 6- fatty acids as well as antioxidants, therefore it has tremendous benefits for the skin in terms of retaining moisture and fighting free radicals.

The 25-year-old wrote on Instagram that she stumbled upon Glory Oil completely by chance, because she heard it reduces the appearance of scars and fine lines ‘and restores your skin to its true glory’.

‘I’ve used and loved a lot of the other Eco Tan products before so I thought why not try it!,’ she wrote.

‘Above is my four months progress using it day and night. I am so impressed with the results!

‘My scars and pigmentation have faded so much and my skin is feeling so good.’

The photos show that Georgie’s scarring – severe from her bad bout of acne – has almost all but disappeared.

The product is organic, and completely natural.

Georgie isn’t the first to rave about the oil, with many Australian adults also using the oil on scars, rosacea, psoriasis and their own eczema flare ups with great success.

Kerry Caruana, 36, from the Gold Coast, Queensland, said her daughter Eden, almost two, started suffering severe eczema and psoriasis when she was just seven weeks old.

But after applying the Glory Oil, she couldn’t believe how quickly the redness started to disappear.

‘Eden had patches on her chest, back and face and her face gets pretty bad. One day her face was so bad that it looked like sunburn,’ Ms Caruana previously told FEMAIL.

‘It was extremely red, hot and so sore for her and she kept pointing to her face and saying “owie” – it was so hard seeing her in pain like that and pointing to it all the time while crying.

Whenever she starts to get sore, she comes to me and says “face, face” and points to the oil.

‘I tried another “natural” brand specifically designed for eczema and she screamed when it touched her skin so I took it straight off with some water.’

To try and ease her daughter’s pain, Ms Caruana tried steroid creams, oatmeal baths and cutting out all products with perfume and harsh chemicals but nothing seemed to help for longer than a couple of days.

Health professionals also failed to help, telling the frantic mother that Eden would ‘likely grow out of it in time and just to keep up with topical steroids’.

'It was extremely red, hot and so sore for her and she kept pointing to her face and saying "owie" - it was so hard seeing her in pain like that,' she said

Desperate to find a solution, Ms Caruana, who already used some of the popular Eco by Sonya Driver products, said she recently saw some eczema success stories on the brand’s website and decided to try the ‘Glory Oil’ on Eden.

‘Luckily I already had some as I use the whole Eco range on my face and the Glory Oil is my favourite. I put it on her and she didn’t scream, she smiled at me and gave me a look like when you put something cooling on a sunburn,’ Ms Caruana said.

‘Within 30 – 45 minutes the redness had significantly decreased and by the next morning there was only a small pale area of eczema left.

‘The Glory Oil keeps her eczema from being inflamed for days and I put more on her maybe three times a week.’

How does Glory Oil work?

* It is described as a ‘miraculous night and day treatment oil’, the all-natural product is designed to reduce the appearance of scars and fine lines and restore skin to its original state.

* It does this using a blend of ‘super seeds’ including inca inchi, acai and pumpkin seed oil as well as chia seed oil, grape seed oil, Vitamin E, and coconut fruit oil.

* ‘Glory Oil harnesses the phenomenal healing powers of organic super seeds to heal, sooth, reduce sign of ageing and assists in restoring moisture balance to your skin,’ the product description reads.

Ms Caruana said her little girl is now much happier, has stopped ‘crying in pain’ all the time and asks for the oil to be applied whenever she feels any pain returning.

‘Whenever she starts to get sore, she comes to me and says “face, face” and points to the oil,’ Ms Caruana said.

‘My advice to any other families dealing with eczema is to reduce or remove any products with perfumes or chemicals from their child’s skin care and take a chance on Glory Oil.

‘If it doesn’t work for your child, the bonus is that you can use it as part of your own night time skin care routine! It’s amazing!’
