Purrfect landing! Leapfrog the cat loves to jump over obstacles – from stacks of cushions to her family’s dog

  • Jeanine Jackson, from Portland, Oregon, filmed the cat hurdling quirky objects
  • The six-year-old pet easily clears a stack of pumpkins and a meditating woman
  • In fact, anything which impedes Leapfrog’s path from the kitchen is vaulted

From a stack of pumpkins to an enormous inflatable snowman, no obstacle is too high for this cat to jump over.

Leapfrog the feline continues to wow her army of social media fans by hurdling whatever stands in her way.

And in a hilarious compilation video, owner Jeanine Jackson, from Portland, Oregon, filmed her six-year-old pet bounding over a mix of quirky objects and beings – including bowls of apples and a meditating woman.

It shows the black puss clearing a tower of cushions, a pile of toilet rolls and even another cat with ease.

In fact any object which impedes Leapfrog’s path from the corner of the kitchen is vaulted.

Ms Jackson said: ‘She’s been leaping since she was a kitten, as if she was raised by goats.

‘She does not like the kitchen floor for some reason, and leaps over it every time.

Whatever you put in her way, she will jump over it, whether that’s a table, a chair or even a person.’

And to prove how confident she is in the springy cat’s jumping abilities, Ms Jackson perched some glass and china ornaments atop a stool.

But, leaping high into the air, the feline easily jumps over it, clearing the fragile objects by at least a foot.

Leapfrog also tackles human barriers, including Ms Jackson’s meditating cousin Kimberly Cobrain and her other cousin Cheryl Hummon, who crouches down with cuddly toys on her back.
