LeBron James speaks out on the ‘tragic’ and ‘unacceptable’ attacks in Israel as he condemns Hamas’ killings in joint statement with Maverick Carter: ‘Murder and violence against innocent people is TERRORISM’

LeBron James has condemned the Hamas attacks in Israel, calling the killing of Israel civilians ‘tragic’ and ‘unacceptable’

‘The devastation in Israel is tragic and unacceptable. The murder and violence against innocent people by Hamas is terrorism,’ he wrote in a letter signed by him and business partner Maverick Carter.

‘The SpringHill Company family sends our deepest condolences to Israel and the Jewish community. We pray for peace in the region and reiterate our continued commitment to fight hate in all its forms.

‘We all must work to ensure this tragedy does not spread even more hate, racism and antisemitism.’

Violence ensued on Saturday when Israeli civilians in Southern Israel were targeted and killed by Hamas, with some being taken hostage as well.

IDF spokesperson Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus said on Wednesday that 1,200 people have died as a result of the attacks.
