A father-of-two has died while on a stag party holiday to Benidorm with his friends.

Lee Okrasa, 38, from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, was killed at the Spanish resort on Sunday, though it is not yet clear how he died.

Devastated partner Lindsay described Mr Okrasa as her ‘forever’ man and said his sudden death has left her ‘broken’.

Mr Okrasa did not have insurance for his trip so a family friend created a GoFundMe page in order to raise the £5,000 to have his remains repatriated.

Lindsay posted on the fundraising page, thanking donors for their kind gifts.

She said: ‘I miss him so much and I can’t express the devastation I feel but your kind words and generosity are so kind. Thank you to each and every one of you.’

On her Facebook page she expressed her sadness at such a great loss.

She said: ‘Words cannot describe how utterly devastated we are. I am numb with pain, sorrow, guilt, loss and every other emotion I can’t put into words.

‘It doesn’t seem real and I can’t accept it.

‘Please don’t take your loved ones for granted and give them an extra special squeeze tonight.’

Family friend Scarlett Cooper, who launched the online appeal, said: ‘Lee was an amazing, genuine guy who was loved by many.’
