Leeds are offering around £10million for Swansea forward Joel Piroe.

The Elland Road side held talks with the player’s representatives this week and Daniel Farke is eager to bolster his attacking options.

Leicester, Everton and Southampton have previously had interest in Piroe.

A former Netherlands youth international, Piroe has been at Swansea since 2021, when he signed from PSV.

During his time at Swansea Piroe has scored 46 goals in 96 appearances.

The 24-year-old is a product of PSV’s academy and also spent time in the youth setup at Feyenoord.

Piroe has played four times for Swansea so far this season and hit a brace against Northampton Town in the Carabao Cup. 

So far in this transfer window Leeds have brought in Ethan Ampadu, Karl Darlow and Sam Byram.

In addition, Joe Rodon arrived from Tottenham on a season-long loan.

Leeds are still waiting for their first league win of the campaign after draws with Cardiff and West Brom and a defeat to Birmingham.
