Leggy Talulah Riley puts on a loved up display with Thomas Brodie-Sangster in New York City

They made their red carpet debut earlier this year after meeting on the set of Pistol.

And Talulah Riley and Thomas Brodie-Sangster seemed to be more loved up than ever on Wednesday as they hit the Vanity Fair Pistol red carpet in New York City. 

Thomas, 31, looked dapper in a silk navy shirt and black stripe trousers as he stood arm-in-arm with Talulah, 36, who is the ex-wife of Tesla billionaire Elon Musk, 50.

The star’s gown perfectly accentuated her hourglass figure and she ensured onlookers got a glimpse at her long slender leg as she struck a confident pose. 

She complemented the plunging gown with a pair of towering black heels and styled her blonde tresses in loose curls as they cascaded down past her shoulders.

Talulah polished her look off with a glamorous palette of make-up as she stared into her beaus eyes.

Thomas, who rose to fame as a child star in Love Actually, cut a smart figure in the dark ensemble which he paired with polished black shoes. 

Thomas is co-starring with Talulah in Danny Boyle’s upcoming Sex Pistols drama, playing pop Svengali Malcolm McLaren to her fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.

When questions on the red carpet for Pistol’s Instagram Story, the couple said: ‘We were the sensible ones and were nicknamed mum and dad.’ 

She quickly added giggling: ‘We were significantly older than the others.’  

They began dating during filming over the summer and their relationship remained undetected until The Mail on Sunday learned that Talulah’s previous romance with Matthew Rice had come to an abrupt end.

‘Talulah and Matthew were on-off for a long time, but it seems that romance fell by the wayside to make room for Thomas,’ said a source. 

‘Talulah was dating Matthew right up until the spring, and he’s still a little shocked and saddened it has all ended between them.’ 

Matthew confirmed the split when approached, saying: ‘She’s a wonderful and amazing girl, she’s utterly gorgeous. Whoever gets to be with her, whether famous or not, is a lucky man.

‘It’s such a pity it ended. I was so lucky to be in her attendance for a bit. It was on and off for a long time and it eventually ended without any arguments. We are still friends but we aren’t in regular touch any more.’  

She wed £180 billion PayPal and Tesla tycoon Elon in 2010. They divorced two years later, remarried in 2013 and split again in 2016. 

At the time, Elon said: ‘We took some time apart for several months to see if absence makes the heart grow fonder, and unfortunately it did not.’

Diminutive Thomas’s star is in the ascendant since his acclaimed role in Netflix chess drama The Queen’s Gambit in 2020.
