Leigh-Anne Pinnock announces her FIRST solo single since Little Mix’s split

Leigh-Anne Pinnock has announced she is releasing her first solo single since splitting from Little Mix.

The singer, who tied the knot with footballer Andre Gray over the weekend, took to Instagram to share a futuristic teaser for the track, after teasing the news with her fans in her Discord community.

The post showed Leigh-Anne putting on a sultry display for the cameras while her body was covered with a futuristic projection.

While she did not reveal the name or release date for the track, she teased: ‘#leighanneiscoming.’ 

Little Mix announced last year that they were taking a break from touring to pursue solo careers, following Jesy Nelson’s departure from the group in 2020.

Leigh-Anne first shared news of the teaser with fans in her Discord community, sharing a voice note saying: ‘Hey guys I hope you’re doing good, so I wanted to let you my Discord legions know before anybody else that I’ll be dropping a teaser of my first solo single. 

‘You’ll be able to hear it on my Instagram page at 6pm today. 

‘And this is just a little thank you for being so supportive and dedicated to this point, I love you guys so much we are just getting started baby!’

She also removed all of the snaps from her Instagram grid in anticipation of the news.

The Little Mix singer and footballer tied the knot in front of a select group of close friends and family members, among them bandmate Jade Thirlwall. 

After marrying in a low-key ceremony on Saturday Leigh-Anne and Andre, both 31, rounded off the idyllic ceremony with a beachside party, during which a special song written especially for the couple was performed, The Mirror reports. 

Video footage obtained by the outlet purportedly captures guests drinking champagne and cocktails while dancing to reggae music during a stunning beachfront reception. 

Pinnock is also seen mingling with loved ones in a form-fitting white gown, while striker Gray – who plays for Greek club Aris – looks appropriately dapper in a crisp white shirt and dress trousers. 

The singer previously shared footage from her picturesque hen-do on the Caribbean island, during which she was seen enjoying mimosas and soaking up the sun on the beach. 

They also wore face masks with Gray’s face on them and matching silk pyjamas in another clip, while Pinnock was also seen riding in a car wearing a elaborate orange flower and feathered headpiece that read ‘Bride to be’.

Alongside her clip, she wrote on Instagram: ‘We made a fricken movie, the hen of dreams.

‘I love these women more then humanly possible and s**t, I’m getting married y’al (sic)’ 

Responding to the post, bandmate Thirlwall commented: ‘Still recovering. The most beautiful hen.’ 

It was revealed a year ago the couple planned to marry in Jamaica as they view the island as their “second home”.

A source told The Sun: ‘Leigh-Anne and Andre have been planning their special day for months and this week they will finally tie the knot.

‘They chose to marry in Jamaica because of their family ties to the island, which they think of as their second home.

‘The ceremony is going to be very low key and romantic. It won’t have any of the hallmarks of the big celebrity weddings you see.

‘Leigh-Anne and Andre just want their closest network there to watch them say their vows.’ 

The couple’s wedding has been delayed several times due to Covid, the FIFA World Cup and her pregnancy.

It was previously reported that the couple plan to get married in Jamaica, with her Little Mix bandmates Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards in attendance.
