THE YOGA 920

One of Lenovo’s new products is the Yoga 920 laptop, which comes with Pen, Voice and Biometrics.

The laptop has a range of high-tech features, including voice recognition with Microsoft’s smart assistant, Cortana.

The Yoga 920 can recognise voice commands in standby mode from up to four meters away, allowing users to play music, check the traffic or even send an email.

Cortana uses AI to learn from its owners, so the Yoga 920 grows smarter over time.

It fuses power, such as up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, Windows 10 OS and dazzling visuals with a nearly bezel-less 4K IPS touchscreen in a 13.9-inch frame.

Weighing in at just 1.37 kg (3.02 lbs), the laptop can flex 360° from a laptop into a tablet.

Yoga 920 also comes in limited edition Gorilla Glass cover designs – including two Star Wars editions.

Lenovo’s first new device is a mixed reality headset, called the Lenovo Explorer, which was built together with Microsoft.

According to Lenovo, the headset should be thought of as a ‘natural, affordable exention of your PC.’

By connecting the device to their PC, users can access Microsoft Office suite, browse online or watch TV in their virtual home office.

Alternatively, they can use the headset to play virtual games or watch 4K videos in 360.

Lenovo also announced its Home Assistant Pack – an Alexa-powered system that users can install on their Lenovo tablets.

Once Home Assistant Pack has been installed on a tablet, users can control the device with their voice – using it to shop online, listen to a song or even control other home devices.

The pack itself includes a powerful three-watt speaker and far-field voice detection, allowing users to speak to Alexa from up to three metres away.

The pack is compatible with the Lenovo Tab 4 8, Lenovo Tab 4 10, Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus and Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus

In an announcement about the new devices, a spokesperson for Lenovo said: ‘At 300 grams, it’s as portable as paperback, so you can move it from room to room.

‘Just attach your Lenovo Tab 4 to the docking station, and your screen automatically switches to the home assistant interface. And you’re ready to go.’

The next product revealed was the Yoga 920 laptop, which comes with Pen, Voice and Biometrics.
