Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid are getting to know each other after his split from Camila Morrone

Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid are reportedly ‘getting to know each other’ less than a month after the end of his four-year relationship with Camila Morrone.

Following a number of reports that the 47-year-old Oscar winner had ‘his sights set’ on rebounding with the supermodel, 27, an insider revealed to People that he ‘is definitely pursuing Gigi.’

‘They’ve been seen hanging out with groups of people. It’s only been a few weeks since the split. Since then, he’s been hanging out with friends and family,’ the source added. 

Despite multiple hangouts, the outlet noted that they are not ‘dating’ just yet.

Last Wednesday, another source revealed that the Don’t Look Up star was attempting to woo the mother-of-one, but said ‘she hasn’t shown an interest.’

‘They’re friends, but she doesn’t want to be romantic with [him] right now,’ the insider told Us Weekly.

The insider also added that though the star has ‘his sights’ on the catwalk star, she ‘doesn’t have her sights on him.’

Gigi is also dealing with a recent break-up as she broke up with One Direction boybander Zayn Malik in October after dating on/off since 2015 and welcoming a child, named Khai, together in September 2020. 

Earlier this month, InTouch, reported that ‘Leo and Gigi have hooked up a few times this summer.

‘They have known each other for several years. They’re super attracted to each other. She is exactly his type: gorgeous, sexy but low-key with a one-of-the-guys attitude.’

Another one of their sources said that it is ‘casual and not a constant thing,’ however, a different source for the publication said that they are just hanging out as friends.

The two seem to have run in similar social circles over the years as back in December 2019, Us Weekly reported that Leo and Gigi partied together at an Art Basel Miami afterparty alongside Kendall Jenner and Gigi’s sister Bella Hadid. 

Meanwhile his most recent ex is moving on with her life as a source told People on Wednesday: ‘Camila is doing fine.  She has a big group of friends that really care about her. She is moving on with her life. She is not in contact with Leo.’

DiCaprio and Morrone’s breakup occurred shortly after her birthday in July — which resulted in the actor being joked about online for seemingly only dating women under age 25.

She’s since moved into a new apartment in Malibu and Leonardo is reportedly already on the prowl for a new flame.

Camila and her new ex Leonardo, who is 22 years her senior, were reported to have ‘quietly’ ended their relationship earlier this summer, a source close to Leo claimed to The Sun.

The latest breakup seems to reinforce a pattern the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star has established of never publicly dating a woman over the age of 25.

Insiders close to Leonardo claimed to the publication that he and Morrone had been growing apart recently.

Back in July, Leonardo had been photographed with the Ukrainian model Maria Beregova, who is only 22, during his trip to Saint-Tropez.

DailyMail.com revealed that Beregova had reverted to using her maiden name after divorcing her husband Abdelhafid, 30 — whose grandfather was a henchman of Libyan dictator Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

The Ukrainian beauty began using her her maiden name again while on the trip, where she was pictured with the Django Unchained star.

Beregova was raised in Switzerland and attend an exclusive boarding school, but she is currently based in London and is studying to take over her family’s pharmaceutical business.

On the same trip, Leo was also spotted partying with his longtime friend Tobey Maguire. The Spider-Man star is part of DiCaprio’s famed ‘Pussy Posse,’ his group of male pals who partied with him throughout the ’90s.

Among the roster were Maguire, David Blaine, Jay Ferguson, Josh Miller, Ethan Suplee and Scott Bloom

The Revenant star was first introduced to Camila back in 2008, when she was only 12.

He represented his his Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, while she walked the red carpet for her acclaimed drama Mickey And The Bear, but the two didn’t walk together at either screening, and he didn’t identify her as his girlfriend at the festival.

Later in the summer of 2019, Camila reminded her fans of Leo’s penchant for dating young women when she posted a romantic photo of Humphrey Bogart and his much-younger wife Lauren Bacall.

‘A love like this,’ she captioned it, though many fans criticized her for dating a much-older man.

In 2020, they continued their pattern of walking red carpets separately, but they made their first public appearance as a couple when they sat together inside the Oscars ceremony that year.

By December, E! News reported that they had taken the major step of moving in together.

Throughout 2022, the couple were spotted being affectionate and were reported to be as strongly connected as ever. Leonardo was even seen taking the dogs that Camila had fostered on solo walks, suggesting he considered himself a parent to them as much as she was.

In June, the Wolf Of Wall Street star was pictured on a beach outing with his father and Al Pacino, whom Camila considers to be her stepfather even after his split from her mother.

One of the last public sightings of the two appeared to be an outing at a beach in Malibu for the on July 3, though they were not pictured together at the time.
