‘Welcome to seven!’ Lewis Hamilton congratulates triumphant Tom Brady as NFL star joins him in record-breaking club after historic Super Bowl win
Lewis Hamilton welcomed triumphant Tom Brady to a very special club on Monday morning after the NFL hero won his seventh Super Bowl.
The legendary American quarterback was on the winning side as unfancied Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat Kansas City Giants 31-9 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on Sunday.
And Formula 1 ace Hamilton, who holds a joint-record seven World Drivers’ Championship titles with Michael Schumacher, was among the millions of fans to congratulated Brady, 43, as he basked in his latest achievement.

Taking to Instagram with an illustration of the sportsman, he wrote: ‘The greatest to ever do it. Congrats brother @tombrady on your 7th Super Bowl win. Welcome to #7!!!’
Brady made history by becoming the first NFL player to win seven MVP trophies following Sunday evening’s Super Bowl LV triumph.
It was also his first with Tampa Bay Buccaneers after ending a hugely successful 19-year association with former team New England Patriots in 2019.

Mercedes driver Hamilton has also reached the pinnacle of greatness after winning an equal number of Formula One titles – his latest, in 2020, putting him level with Schumacher.
Other stars to congratulate Brady following his win included Nick Jonas, Elizabeth Banks, Jimmy Kimmel and Kate Hudson.
Taking to Twitter, Jonas wrote: ‘Congrats to the @Buccaneers and @TomBrady TB12 undisputed #goat 7 rings. Wow. Congrats @Chiefs and @PatrickMahomes on another amazing season. #SuperBowl.’

Meanwhile Hudson referred to him as the ‘greatest of all time,’ adding: ‘GOAT. He did it. Wow… just wow.’
Kimmel referenced his ongoing faux feud with Matt Damon, writing: ‘Congrats to Brady & Gronk: the only pair of friends from Boston who left and found success. I can’t think of a single other pair. #nodisrespecttobenaffleck’
Admitting she’d placed a family bet on Brady winning, Banks wrote: ‘Thanks @tombrady I won $10 (from my kids) and congrats #GOAT #SuperBowl.
‘Middle-aged people doing young people s*** is the best motivation to not just keel over, tbh #SuperBowl #12.’
