Oasis fans rejoice – the most unlikely of reunions tours could be on the cards.

While City fans are daring to dream, one of their biggest supporters has thrown a major incentive on the line.
Liam Gallagher is a proud Manchester City fan and is known for his hatred of two things; Manchester United and his brother Noel.
However the co-founder of seminal British pop-rock group Oasis has declared all will be forgiven if his beloved City can complete the treble.
‘If Man City wins the Champions League I call my brother and I bring back the f***in ban together LG x,’ he posted on social media.
Oasis gained immense popularity in the mid-1990s with their debut album, ‘Definitely Maybe,’ which was followed by their iconic sophomore release, ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’.
This tension eventually came to a head in August 2009, during the band’s tour. A backstage altercation at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris resulted in Noel announcing his departure from the band, citing irreconcilable differences with his brother Liam.
The animosity between Liam and Noel Gallagher has persisted long after the breakup of Oasis.

And Aussie comedian Jim Jefferies is loving it.
‘I’ve never support [sic] Man City till now,’ he posted with a screenshot of Liam Gallagher’s promise.
Other football fans were quick to follow Jefferies in becoming temporary Man City fans to get an Oasis reunion.
‘I love Liverpool, but for an Oasis reunion I believe I’m a Manchester City fan for the remainder of this table,’ one fan posted.
Others were not as excited about the potential reunion.
‘If Man City have any integrity they will concede now just so there’s no chance Oasis will get back together,’ posted another fan.

Noel Gallagher is also a Manchester City fan and earlier this year that he hoped they would meet Inter in the final because he said they ‘aren’t very good’.
‘Inter, because they’re the weakest.’ he replied when asked who he would rather face.
‘Also, Lukaku isn’t playing well at all,’ he added.
‘In my opinion, Napoli are stronger than Milan, but all the the Italian teams have fantastic fans who create an incredible atmosphere.
‘But if I really have to choose, I’ll say Inter, they’re not very good.’
Inter secured their place in the final by defeating AC Milan with a 3-0 aggregate score in the semi-final match that concluded on Tuesday.
This year’s Champions League final is set to take place at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, on Saturday, June 10.
This will be Manchester City’s second appearance in the final, following their first-ever participation in 2021 when they narrowly lost 1-0 to Chelsea.
