Liam Gallagher suffered a nasty facial injury after falling out of a helicopter following his gig at the Isle of Wight Festival last month.
Speaking on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X on Friday, the singer, 49, described the life-threatening incident as ‘an act of God’ and said his ‘nose has come back bigger and better’.
The Oasis band member also joked to host Chris Moyles that if he could choose ‘a way to go’ it would be falling out of a helicopter.

‘You know when I fell out the helicopter the other day, I said it was an act of God,’ Liam said. ‘It was an act of God! My nose has come back bigger and better!’
Ever the optimist, Liam, who has had a headline-grabbing rock and roll career, joked that he if could choose a ‘way to go’, it would be falling out of a helicopter.
‘What a way to go, if it would have been. Tell you what, I wouldn’t have minded going that way. It’s better than slipping on a chopstick innit?

Earlier this month, Liam shared a selfie which exposed the results of the dangerous disaster, before joking that he would use it for his next album cover.
Ever the comedian, he wrote alongside the photo: ‘So check this out I fell out the helicopter last night you couldn’t rite it all good who said RnR is dead Keith moon eat your drum skin out C’mon you know LG x [sic].’

The photo exhibited multiple plasters and ointment which had been spread over his facial cuts, as well as a dried bloody nose.
Clearly taking things easy after the almost life-threatening incident, he went on to post a refreshing bottle of Estrella to his profile, featuring the caption: ‘What doesn’t kill ya makes ya TUFF GONG [sic].’
He went on to declare: ‘Got the cover shot for Nxt album c’mon you nose LG x [sic],’ which would certainly save a hefty fee for a professional photographer.

‘Any footage or CCTV?’ one user wrote, which prompter the Wonderwall hitmaker to comment: ‘Yeah it’s in the nxt video [sic].’
Another asked: ‘How the hell did you fall out a helicopter, liam? [Smiling face with open mouth emoji]’ to which Liam replied: ‘You tell me,’ before joking that he had plummeted from 100 thousand feet.
