The Portuguese boss was sacked by the Red Devils in December 2018 after a tumultuous spell in charge and has since been unable to find another job.
Remy, who will play for Lille against his former club in the Champions League on Wednesday night, reflected on his time under Mourinho at Chelsea and offered a reminder of how good he can be.

‘He trusted me,’ Remy said in an interview with The Independent.
‘I remember one time before a big match, it was Manchester City at home, and Diego Costa was injured and he grabbed me and said “I know your quality. I know you can play these type of games, so just go and don’t think too much”.
‘For me, honestly, I always remember when I was there, tactically he was very good. He knows football.
