Lily-Rose Depp catches the eye in denim jacket and matching jeans as she grabs a bite to eat

Lily-Rose Depp enjoyed a relaxing day out in Los Angeles with friends on Thursday as she continues to enjoy her Christmas break.

The actress, 23, looked in good spirits as she went for a pedicure and later grabbed a bite to eat at celebrity hotspot Il Pastaio.

Lily-Rose, who is the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, donned a dark denim jacket and a matching pair of jeans.

The model also wore a pair of black boots and added to her outfit with a T-shirt and a gold necklace.

Styling her dark blonde locks into an updo, Lily-Rose completed her look with sunglasses and a pink handbag.

It comes after Lily-Rose addressed nepotism claims in an interview with Elle in which she also discussed the challenges of growing up in the spotlight.

The daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis slammed the idea that she has landed roles due to family connections, saying: ‘Nothing is going to get you the part except for being right for the part’.

However the model – who is set to star in HBO’s upcoming series The Idol – did admit that who she is helped her ‘get her foot in the door’ but that she still has to work hard.

She said: ‘The internet seems to care a lot about that kind of stuff. People are going to have preconceived ideas about you or how you got there, and I can definitely say that nothing is going to get you the part except for being right for the part.

‘The internet cares a lot more about who your family is than the people who are casting you in things. Maybe you get your foot in the door, but you still just have your foot in the door. There’s a lot of work that comes after that.’

On grappling with fame her whole life she added ‘Growing up my parents protected my brother [Jack] and me from it as much as possible.

‘I know my childhood didn’t look like everybody’s childhood, and it’s a very particular thing to deal with, but it’s also the only thing that I know.’… 

Though confronting fame as an adult has been ‘a weird thing to navigate,’ she admitted: ‘It’s different experiencing it firsthand rather than by proxy. I guess it’s something that I’ve had to make my own way with.’
