Linda Robson, 65, reveals she hasn’t had sex for two years and insists she doesn’t want a romantic relationship: ‘I am happy as I am’

Linda Robson has revealed that she hasn’t had sex for two years. 

Joining her fellow Loose Women panellists on Monday’s instalment of the ITV show, the actress, 65, insisted that she doesn’t want a romantic relationship.

Linda – who has been married to husband Mark Dunford for 33 years – explained: ‘I’ve got companions, I’ve got friends, I’ve got you lot, I’ve got my grandchildren and my kids. I don’t need anyone else.

‘I’m happy as I am. I like doing things on my own anyway. When I go away I can eat what I want and watch what I want on the telly.’

Asked if she was just saying that because the thought of a new romance in later life scares her, Linda said: ‘I’ve never got undressed in front of my husband let alone a stranger or someone that I’ve just met.

‘I know I talk about sex a lot but I haven’t had it for about two years.’

In June, Linda addressed the rumours that her marriage to her husband Mark Dunford was on the rocks.

The couple – who married in 1990 – live together in London but it was claimed earlier this year that they have been having relationship difficulties. 

Speaking to the Sun, she explained that her marriage was going through some ‘ups and downs’ but insisted they are still together.

Linda said: ‘Every relationship goes through its ups and downs. It’s not bad, we’re doing alright.’

A source had previously told The Sun on Sunday: ‘Linda has been quite open behind the scenes about problems in her marriage.

‘They hit a bit of a rough patch before Christmas but they’ve managed to work through it. Linda turned to her family and close friends who supported her through it all.’

While Linda denied she was in the midst of a ‘marriage crisis’ she admitted that it hasn’t been plain sailing with her long-term love. 

Candid: ‘I’ve never got undressed in front of my husband let alone a stranger or someone that I’ve just met. ‘I know I talk about sex a lot but I haven’t had it for about two years,’ said Linda

When asked about the crisis by The Sun she stated: ‘That’s a load of rubbish. We’re still living together. We both love our kids more than anything else in the world, obviously you have a few hiccups in every marriage. 

‘We’ve been married 33 years so it’s not going to be all plain sailing, but we’re still together at the moment.’

Linda and Mark share children Louis, 31, and Roberta, 27. Linda also has a daughter Lauren, 40, with her ex Tony Tyler.
