Lindsay Lohan lovingly watches husband Bader Shammas playing with their son Luai, 1, on her off-time from Freaky Friday sequel

Lindsay Lohan indulged in a spot of quality time with her husband Bader Shammas and their son Luai, one, in California on Wednesday.

The 38-year-old actress currently lives with her family in Dubai, where Bader holds a position as assistant vice president at Credit Suisse.

In recent weeks, Lindsay has been working in Los Angeles with Jamie Lee Curtis, filming the sequel to their smash hit 2003 comedy Freaky Friday.

During a snatch of off-time, Lindsay could be spotted lovingly watching her husband as he played with their little boy outdoors in Laguna Beach.

She was the image of summery style in a sleeveless white crop top, teamed with a matching skirt that fell to ankle length.

A few days earlier Lindsay and Jamie were spotted wearing extravagantly splashy outfits while filming a scene from Freaky Friday 2.

Lindsay was decked out in a billowy red and black gown reminiscent of the 1980s, complete with a pair of black opera gloves.

Meanwhile Jamie, the daughter of Some Like It Hot heartthrob Tony Curtis and Psycho blonde Janet Leigh, modeled double denim.

The previous Freaky Friday movie was based on a popular novel by Mary Rodgers, whose father was The Sound Of Music composer Richard Rodgers.

Jamie and Lindsay played a mother and daughter who wake up one morning and discover to their horror that they have switched bodies.

Although plot details for the sequel have mostly been kept under wraps, Lindsay recently let a bit of juicy information slip.

‘Well, I can’t say much, but I am taking guitar lessons and I do have a daughter in the movie,’ she revealed during a recent appearance on Good Morning America. ‘It’s going to be a really Freaky Friday. Much freakier than you would expect.’

She raved about the ‘fantastic’ experience of working with Jamie again, saying: ‘We all have so much fun. It’s so great to have that…you always want to have a good time. It’s just lot of love, lot of fun, lot of laughs. It’s a great experience.’

Lindsay added: ‘Jamie and I have stayed in touch over the years. They always say when you have a best friend, or someone you’re really close with, and you cannot see them for years and years, but when you see them again, it’s like you never separated. I think just always, women supporting women is such an incredible thing.’

After putting her infamous wild child phase behind her, Lindsay announced her engagement to Bader in 2021 and married him the following year.

She now leads a private life in Dubai, announcing her pregnancy in May 2023 just two months before welcoming little Luai into the world.
