• United have had a poor start to the season and are searching for some form

By Lewis Browning For Mailonline

Lisandro Martinez is absent from Manchester United’s game against Burnley this evening as the club’s injury woes continue.

United will travel to Turf Moor to take on a Clarets side still looking for their first win in the Premier League this season following promotion last campaing.

Manager Erik ten Hag has had to struggle through injury issues and other absentees in his squad, with the likes of Harry Maguire, Mason Mount and Luke Shaw all on the treatment table.

Jadon Sancho is still training alone after a falling out with the Dutchman, while Antony is also away from the squad after being accused of domestic abuse.

And Ten Hag’s headache has only got worse, with Martinez, a regular in defence for the Dutchman, missing from tonight’s game.
