Former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher has revealed the hilarious way that his now-employers Sky mock him on the latest episode of Mail Sport podcast Soccer A-Z.
The pundit joined the gang as this week’s guest and set himself up by discussing the infamous moment during his playing career that the broadcaster is keen not to let him forget.
Carragher is a Reds legend, having featured for the Merseyside outfit for the duration of his 17-year-long career.
But despite facing a number of big names during his time in red, the 46-year-old singled out one rival for being ‘brilliant’ – and good at making him look the object of ridicule too.

Carragher revealed that he was unable to stop Sky from teasing him, despite attempts to pull rank as ‘one of their top pundits’.
But the mockery was all in the spirit of good fun – aside for some bruising of Carragher’s ego when the anniversary of the embarrassing incident rolls around.
