‘Ooooh I like it. It’s amazing, you look gorgeous,’ gushed the hitmaker as the pair said their goodbyes.

Debbie is also mum to Leigh-Anne’s two older sisters Sian-Louise and Sairah – with their mum detailing ‘My girls are my life, they’re my best friends.’

Debbie was paired with stationery sales manager Rob, as the duo hit it off on the date, with the latter being slightly taken aback by the famous revelation.

But insisting they’re a ‘normal family’, Debbie explained to her date: ‘ She doesn’t get the singing voice from me, but I love singinig. Since shes been a pop star we’ve had some really good fun, we’ve been on tour and gone to america and it’s fun.

‘I’ll never ever get over being the mum of a pop star, I love it. But I need to be normal to keep Leigh-Anne normal. She’s a global star but is always gonna be my baby, we call her lee-lee at home and she’ll always be that little chubby-cheeked shy girl.

She continued: ‘We’re so lucky that she’s done so well, but that’s her life and everyone else gets on with their life. She is famous but she’s a normal girl underneath, and we’re a normal family.’

Rob didn’t appear to be fazed by the fame, as the pair locked lips during the episode and even appeared to continue their romance on return to the UK.

And eagle-eyed viewers of the show took to Twitter to share their shock at Debbie’s appearance, as one posted: ‘Omg Leigh-Anne’s mum was on first dates???’

Despite airing this week, the episode appeared to have been filmed around three years ago, with Debbie referring to Leigh-Anne, who is now 30, as a 27-year-old.
