A live-in nanny has been awarded a staggering sum of cash after her creepy fried chicken mogul boss filmed her in secret with cameras hidden in her bedroom.

Michael Esposito, 35, owner of three LaRosa Grill franchises, was caught secretly filming 28-year-old Kelly Andrade in the nude .

He secretly installed a camera in his young Colombian au pair’s bedroom smoke detector, capturing ‘hundreds’ of explicit videos of the unsuspecting nanny.

Esposito has now been ordered to cough up a whopping $2.78 million after the creepy chicken boss’s perverted scheme came crashing down when Andrade discovered the camera’s memory card packed with X-rated footage.

A Manhattan Jury has now awarded $780,000 in emotional distress damages against both Michael and his wife Danielle Esposito, plus $2 million in punitive damages against Esposito.

The live-in nanny sued her boss in 2021 for allegedly secretly filming her ‘hundreds’ of times in various stages of undress with a camera hidden in a smoke detector in her room.

Esposito, a father of four, was arrested on March 24, 2021, after Colombian-born Andrade claimed she found the camera at the home in New York’s Staten Island.

She alleged that her boss rushed home and tried to break her door down when he realized she had discovered the hidden camera.

The then-25-year-old nanny claimed she jumped out of her bedroom window to escape the terrifying confrontation, believing Esposito might be armed with a gun.

Esposito, who owns three LaRosa Grill franchises, was hit with a felony charge of unlawful surveillance.

Andrade said in her lawsuit that she spent hundreds of hours training upon being hired by Cultural Care Au Pair, who sent her to work in the United States.

She was placed with Esposito and his wife Danielle to look after his four children in the family’s $800,000 waterfront Tottenville home, according to the Post.

Through a translator, Andrade told the Post that she was initially thrilled for the chance to learn English and work in the US, and the Espositos gave her a private bedroom of her own while she watched their young children.

But she says she became suspicious after finding Esposito frequently adjusting the smoke detector in her bedroom.

Three weeks into the job she inspected the device and discovered the camera.

She says her boss arrived home ‘within minutes’ and ‘seemed very worried when he arrived to the house’.

The au pair claims that she tried to pretend to be asleep but that Esposito banged repeatedly on the locked door, and she jumped from a window out of fear.

She then ran down the street and fled to a nearby police station, where she gave them the memory card she had found in the camera.

The lawsuit claims it contained ‘hundreds of recordings’ showing her nude or partially dressed.
