Liverpool analyst Dominic Price is set to leave the club and undertake a new role as Maccabi Tel Aviv’s new technical director.
Price will link up with ex-Liverpool striker Robbie Keane, who is the current manager of the Israeli Premier League side, the club confirmed via Twitter.
Keane opted for a move to Maccabi Tel Aviv after leaving his role as assistant manager at Leeds following their relegation from the Premier League.
According to The Athletic, Price was a ‘highly-regarded’ backroom staff member and will be a big loss for the Merseyside club.
The outlet claim that they were not willing to lose Price but appreciated the opportunity that presented itself to him with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Price initially joined Liverpool in 2011 as a coach for the club’s international football academies before leaving to join Blackpool in 2020.
With the Seasiders, Price was a first team performance analyst but decided to leave his post there in July 2022 to return as a first team post-match analyst.
Maccabi CEO Ben Mansford said: ‘Dominic will manage all technical aspects of the first team operations including recruitment, performance analysis, sports science data and its interaction with the medical department.
‘Dominic will also further embed best practice across Maccabi’s youth academy in the same areas as we look to drive forward with greater analysis and integration of data to support the club’s continued progression.
‘We are convinced Dominic’s proven skills and attributes will help push Maccabi forward.’
