Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has got a tattoo on his upper thigh to mark his side’s Champions League final victory over Tottenham.
Henderson lifted the European Cup for the sixth time in Liverpool’s history when the Reds beat Spurs 2-0 in Madrid earlier this month.
The 29-year-old has now had the memories of that special evening etched into his skin forever during his holiday in California.

Henderson lifted the European Cup for the sixth time in Liverpool’s history in Madrid on June 1
Henderson visited Tommy Montoya’s Klockwork Tattoo Club in Covina for the special appointment.
He chose to have the iconic Champions League trophy as the centrepiece of the tattoo with the date of the final written underneath.
The England international then posed with artist Montoya for a picture once his work was complete.
Montoya wrote on Instagram: ‘congratulations to the champs @LiverpoolFC @jhenderson ‘even at the top he remains humble’ #truechampion’.
Henderson has been trying to maintain his fitness during his time off ahead of pre-season
Henderson became the first Liverpool captain since Steven Gerrard in 2005 to lift the European Cup.
Jurgen Klopp’s side won the all-English final thanks to a penalty from Mohamed Salah and a late goal from Divock Origi.

The Reds are expected to report back for pre-season training in the coming weeks and Henderson posted a picture of himself running around a pitch somewhere in the US.
