Exhaustion and astonishment soon gave way to jubilant celebration and some very dodgy dancing as Liverpool’s players celebrated their sensational win over Barcelona in the dressing room at Anfield.
In one of the most miraculous comebacks in football history, Jurgen Klopp’s side swept Barcelona aside in a 4-0 win that overturned a seemingly mountainous three-goal first leg deficit.
Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum both scored twice in a raucous Anfield atmosphere as Liverpool surged into a second successive Champions League final.

Mohamed Salah, wearing an apt t-shirt with the slogan ‘Never Give Up’, enters the dressing room to join in celebrations following Tuesday night’s extraordinary win
The behind-the-scenes clip, posted by Liverpool’s official Twitter account, begins with a visibly exhausted and emotional Trent Alexander-Arnold trying to come to terms with what had just unfolded.
It was Alexander-Arnold that delivered the clever corner kick from which Origi swept home their fourth goal. He takes a moment to compose his thoughts as his team-mates filter past and then kisses the badge.
We then see Mohamed Salah, who sat out the second leg following the head knock he sustained in the match at Newcastle on Saturday night, entering with a broad smile on his face.
Appropriately, the Egyptian is wearing a t-shirt with the slogan ‘Never Give Up’.
James Milner is shown catching his breath before Salah leans over and asks him if he’d booked a holiday given they will not have to play the Champions League final on June 1
Roberto Firmino, who missed the second leg through injury, gives the thumbs up
Youngster Rhian Brewster, an unused substitute on the night, dances for the camera
Roberto Firmino, who also missed the dramatic match through injury, is also seen chatting away to his team-mates.
We then see two-goal hero Wijnaldum before James Milner come in and takes a seat and a breather, sipping on a bottle of water.
Hilariously, Salah leans across and asks Milner whether he had booked a post-season holiday given that Liverpool will not contest the Champions League final in Madrid on June 1. ‘Not yet,’ Milner replies.
Music pumps out as youngster Rhian Brewster, who was an unused substitute on the night, shows off his moves before getting up and showing defender Dejan Lovren how to dance properly.

Liverpool’s celebrations no doubt continued for some time but they will have to quickly refocus with the finale of the Premier League season coming up on Sunday.
They enter the final day a point behind Manchester City but could snatch their first league title in 29 years if they beat Wolves and City drop points in their game at Brighton.
But one thing that is for certain is that Liverpool’s season won’t end there after what may well have been Anfield’s most extraordinary night.
They will now go on to Madrid where they will face the winner of Premier League rivals Tottenham’s clash against Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena on Wednesday evening.
The Eredivisie side hold a 1-0 advantage from the first leg at Tottenham’s new stadium, however Mauricio Pochettino’s men will be able to call upon the services of Heung Min Son, who was suspended for the first leg.
