Liverpool will step up their pursuit of Red Bull Salzburg’s Takumi Minamino with a buyout clause of just £7.25million.
The 24-year-old has starred for the Austrian outfit in the Champions League this season including against Jurgen Klopp’s Reds, with two goals and three assists in six matches.
And now Liverpool are keen to make a swoop for Minamino during the transfer window next month due to the opportunity to snap up the £20m talent on the cheap.

Reds manager Klopp is reportedly particularly eager to try to acquire the services of the Japan international.
Minamino has notched nine goals and supplied 11 assists in 22 appearances for Salzburg this season.
Minamino would bolster the Reds’ attacking options as they continue to push for the Premier League title.
