Virgil van Dijk and Georginio Wijnaldum’s Champions League celebrations continued as they met up with the Holland squad for the Nations League.
The duo were integral to Liverpool’s run in Europe this season and both started the final as Jurgen Klopp’s side overcame Tottenham 2-0 on Saturday to win the trophy for a sixth time.
After being given time to celebrate, they joined up with Ronald Koeman’s Holland squad on Monday night ahead of Thursday’s match against England.

The former Everton manager also welcomed Liverpool midfielder Wijnaldum on Monday night
And they were given a heroes’ welcome by the rest of the team when they arrived at the hotel.
Wijnaldum and Van Dijk were applauded in by the squad as they came through the revolving doors of the hotel in Portugal.
The midfielder was clearly enjoying the experience as he raised his hands in the air while taking in the acclaim from the rest of the squad.

The likes of Matthijs de Ligt and Daley Blind could be seen congratulating the duo despite missing out on a place in the Champions League final following their semi-final heartbreak with Ajax.
Van Dijk in particular was greeted by De Ligt, with Frenkie de Jong also smiling at the defender as he walked in.
There was a nice moment too as manager Koeman embraced both of the players on their arrival.
Former Manchester United player Memphis Depay and Fulham forward Ryan Babel both went forward to congratulate Wijnaldum.
