Liverpool centre-back Dejan Lovren continued to fan the flames surrounding Tottenham’s point at Anfield on Sunday as he aired his displeasure at Dele Alli’s diving.
The two sides met in a fascinating encounter which finished in dramatic fashion with Harry Kane netting a late penalty to rescue a point – and score his 100th Premier League goal in the process.
But Lovren’s issue remains with Alli after he was booked in the first half for throwing himself to the ground when in close proximity to Lovren and team-mate Andy Robertson.

The Croat took to Instagram on Tuesday to aim a dig at the England international over diving
Taking to his Instagram account on Tuesday, the Croatian defender posted a picture of himself and Robertson near Alli and captioned it: ‘Robo I will tell him…’
Since Alli made his Tottenham debut on August 8, 2015, he has been booked for diving three times, the most of any Premier League player in that period.
And despite both managers looking to move on from the eventful encounter, Lovren suggested on Tuesday he is yet to let the matter go.
The image shared online has been liked over 50,000 times – including by team-mates Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and goalkeeper Loris Karius – with fans praising the defender for airing his honest opinion.

The game caused controversy with referee Jon Moss awarding Tottenham two penalties either side of a fine strike from Mo Salah.
Harry Kane missed the first before scoring the second late in the game to reach the landmark 100 league goals.
Lovren will need to switch his mind to this coming Sunday – rather than Alli’s performance at Anfield – as Liverpool travel to his former employers Southampton as they bid to strengthen their hold on a top-four position.
