Logies 2022: Ada Nicodemou’s embarrassing wardrobe malfunction

Ada Nicodemou revealed more than she bargained for at The 62nd Annual TV Week Logie Awards on the Gold Coast on Sunday.

While on stage presenting an award alongside Natalie Abbott, the 45-year-old gave viewers a quick glimpse of her undergarments thanks to a dangerously high split in her custom Velani gown.

The flashy moment caused a minor stir on social media, with one stunned viewer tweeting: ‘Did Ada just flash us?’

Another viewer mentioned Sophie Monk’s equally as racy ensemble, writing: ‘Ada and Sophie need new wardrobe assistants next year.’

Ada left little to the imagination in her green gown, which not only featured the X-rated split, but also had a low-cut neckline that showcased her cleavage.

She accessorised her look with a Bulgari clutch and sparkly green Aquazzura heels. 

The Home and Away star and six-time Logie nominee told The Daily Telegraph’s Body+Soul this weekend that she loves ‘every moment’ of the awards show.

‘I love every moment of the Logies and I always have,’ she gushed.

The Home and Away star quickly changed positions to protect her modesty on stage

‘I’m just one of those girls who loves the excitement of picking my frock and talking about my hair and make-up and every step along the way,’ she continued.

‘Like, how often does the average person get to get dressed up like this? The fact that I get to do it once a year, I just get so excited about it.’

Ada is known for her ageless good looks and previously revealed that she does use Botox occasionally.

However, she denied altering her naturally gorgeous features with dermal filler.

The soap star revealed the extent of her cosmetic work while responding to a troll who called her ‘fake’ on Instagram back in 2019.

‘I don’t use fillers and I rarely use Botox and the only surgery that I’ve done [that] is “fake” is breast augmentation, which I have every right to do,’ Ada wrote.

In 2018, the mother of one told Daily Mail Australia she was not opposed to cosmetic surgery in principle.

‘Everyone should do whatever makes them feel good,’ she said when asked about Botox. ‘I have no judgement on it whatsoever.’
