Olivia Jade Giannulli is not only back on social media after months of near-silence, but she is also reportedly back together with her ex-boyfriend Jackson Guthy.
Olivia, 19, and Jackson, 23, are believed to have broken up in May because of the media frenzy surrounding her and her family after her parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannuli, were charged in college admissions scandal.
However, in the months following their split, Jackson shared not one but two photos of himself kissing Olivia. A source told Us Weekly that the two are once again a couple after briefly calling it quits.

Rumors: The two set tongues wagging when Jackson took to Instagram earlier this month to share a sweet photo of himself kissing Olivia
Grand gesture? The source said sharing the photo was a way for Jackson, who had never publicly professed love for anyone he dated, ‘to let people know they are a couple’
Before their breakup, Olivia was believed to have stayed with Jackson in his Malibu home as she dealt with the fallout, but he reportedly struggled with the media attention.
‘Jackson broke up with Olivia because it was all getting to be too much for him,’ an insider told Us Weekly at the time. ‘It wasn’t necessarily affecting his career, but the fact that he couldn’t be seen out in public with Olivia was difficult.’
The two reportedly remained friendly after calling it quits, and they sparked rumors of a reconciliation in June when Jackson posted a Boomerang of himself kissing Olivia on the cheek — and even tagged her in the Instagram Stories post.
It looked like the couple had reconciled, but posting the playful footage may have been nothing more than a game to them.
‘Olivia and Jackson both love the media attention and love to keep people speculating about their relationship,’ a source told Us Weekly of their Instagram kiss. ‘It’s what they’re going for.’

Hard times: They are believed to have broken up because of the media frenzy surrounding her and her family. She is pictured with her mom Lori Loughlin and her sister Bella in February
In the black and white photo, Jackson is shirtless and is leaning over Olivia, who is wearing a floral summer dress. She is seen holding a phone in her manicured hand while closing her eyes during the passionate kiss.
‘Lil monkey I love you,’ Jackson wrote in the caption accompanying the image, which has drawn more than 18,400 ‘likes,’ including ones from Olivia and her sister Bella, 20.
An unnamed source who was said to be close to the two confirmed to ET that the pair have reconciled in the wake of the college admissions scandal.
‘They’re doing much better and had a really good summer together,’ the insider told the outlet. ‘Olivia joined Jackson at his summer home in North Carolina with a bunch of friends and had a blast.’
The source added that sharing the photo was a way for Jackson, who had never publicly professed love for any of the women he had dated, ‘to let people know they are a couple.’
Us Weekly’s report about their reconciliation comes just days after Olivia made a bold return to social media following months of near-silence.
Under pressure: Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli (left) are shown leaving court in April. They pleaded not guilty to fraud charges
Hiding out: Olivia and her sister Bella have both kept a low profile in the wake of the college admissions scandal
The YouTube star sent a strong statement to the media when she took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of herself with both middle fingers up while calling out several media outlets and reports that hinge on ‘close source’ accounts.
‘@dailymail @starmagazine @people @perezhilton @everyothermediaoutlet #close #source #says,’ she wrote.
Olivia’s mother and father both pleaded not guilty to fraud charges after prosecutors accused them of paying $500,000 to get their daughters into University of Southern California under false pretenses by claiming they were rowing recruits.
Fifty parents were indicted in the scandal and many, including fellow actress Felicity Huffman, have pleaded guilty. Lori and Mossimo’s decision to fight the charges in court could put them behind bars for years if they are convicted.
Olivia and Bella have both kept a low profile in the wake of the scandal, but numerous reports about how they’re dealing with the fallout have emerged since, citing close sources.
Many of those reports detailed strife within the family, including claims that Olivia blames her parents for the scandal, which resulted in her losing brand sponsorships.

Fans: The comments section on Olivia’s latest Instagram post is filled with people praising her rebuke of the media and calling her a ‘legend’
Hmm… It appears that all of the comments on the original post are positive, leading some to speculate that Olivia filtered out the negative ones
In May, it was reported that the Instagram influencer had ‘barely spoken’ to either of them for months, with several media outlets suggesting that she had been staying with friends while she looked for her own permanent residence away from her parents’ sprawling Bel Air home.
Olivia’s decision to withdraw from social media was also a clear indication of her desire to take a step away from the scandal and her involvement in it.
She first broke her silence two weeks ago when she posted a childhood photo with her mom on Instagram in honor of her Lori’s birthday.
Her latest post, which shows her wearing a smirk along with a vintage Snoop Dogg T-shirt and a pair of black shorts, received mixed reactions.
Many people praised her rebuke of the media, calling her a ‘legend’ and welcoming her back to the platform.
Interesting: By contrast, the comments on a repost by @commentsbycelebs are almost all negative, with users branding Olivia a ‘brat’ for complaining about the attention she’s getting
Her sister Bella commented: ‘Not over you and this – QUEEN.’

‘What’s the headline: “Entitled average looking white girl steals educational opportunities from those with less money, doesn’t GAF?”‘ one person wrote.
Another commented: ‘When your mom buys your way for school and people find out and you lost all respect and this is the only way to stay relevant mood!’
Reality TV star Nema Vand of Bravo’s Shahs of Sunset, asked: ‘What’s the narrative here? That her mom is a criminal and abused the system and she’s somehow a victim?’
