Louise Redknapp, 48, performs with glam Michelle Gayle, 52, at her latest London gig

Louise Redknapp rocked a deconstructed suit as she took to the stage for her An Evening With Louise concert in London on Thursday evening.

The songstress, 48, was joined  by Michelle Gayle, 52, as they entertained a star-studded audience of famous friends at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Louise showcased her toned midriff in a white cropped shirt which she wore with smart trousers and a silver sparkly tie, slipping off her tailored blazer as the night wore on.

She accentuated her age defying features with a light dusting of make-up and styled her blonde tresses loose.

The former Eternal singer Louise showcased her impressive vocals before regaling the audience with stories from her award winning career.

Meanwhile Michelle put on a very busty display in a plunging black and gold gown that boasted billowing sleeves and ruffled detailing.

It comes after Louise said  she ‘often’ embarrasses her son when her songs blast out from her car as she drops him off at school.

The pop star is mother to sons Charley, 18, and Beau, 14, with her ex, England footballer Jamie Redknapp, 49, who she divorced in 2017 after 19 years of marriage.

Singer Louise rose to fame as a member of girl band Eternal after they released their debut album Always & Forever in 1994, before she went on to pursue a solo career during which she sold five million records in the UK and 15 million worldwide.

And Louise says her tunes frequently come on the radio still today, leaving her younger son red-faced if they’re playing as she drops him off at the school gates.

She told The Sunday Times: ‘The worst-case scenario, which happens surprisingly often, is when one of my songs comes on the radio as we approach the school gates.

‘Beau obviously finds this mortifying and says, “Just park around the corner. Please.”’

‘I’ve no idea if my boys think I’m a cool mum, but I have a great relationship with both of them and they’re super-supportive of what I do.

‘They don’t say too much because they’re teenagers, but I know they’re proud, which I sometimes hear when they don’t realise I’m in earshot.’

However, her eldest son Charley is free of such situations as he is now a university student in Arizona.

The star said she and ex Jamie jungle the tasks of parenthood between them as they co-parent alongside one another, each playing on what they’re good at.

‘Jamie and I share the after-school football pick-ups, and Beau is often at his dad’s, so my favourite evenings are when it’s just me and Beau,’ she explained.

‘I’m a c**p cook but I still like making him dishes he loves, like steak and chips with an egg on top and broccoli on the side.’

Louise also revealed she’s ‘open’ to the idea of dating again after her split from Jamie.

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant admitted she doesn’t actively look for a new partner, but is keeping her options open for what might come next.

She told the newspaper: ‘People ask me about dating and although I wouldn’t say I ever go out actively looking, I’ve got an open heart for what the future may bring.’

Although Louise has been considering the idea of dating again – she said her energies are currently focused on her two boys and her job only.

It comes after the news that Louise and Olly Murs will be leading the stars playing at Flackstock festival 2023 in tribute to their late friend Caroline Flack.

Caroline tragically took her own life on February 15, 2020, aged 40.

The festival is back for a second year with a host of celebrities joining forces to raise money to four charities which were close to Caroline’s heart.

Olly, 39, enjoyed a close friendship with the presenter after they presented The Xtra Factor together.

The singer previously revealed he tried and failed to meet up with Caroline not long before her death but she never showed up, and that he ‘always’ thinks about it.

Louise became good friends with Caroline after she reached out to her when she was going through a tough time after the breakdown of her 19-year marriage.

After raising an extraordinary £325,000 in 2022, money raised from Flackstock 2023 will once again be split equally between Choose Love, Mind, Samaritans and Charlie Waller Trust.

The event will take place in the grounds of Englefield House following on from the summer concerts as part of Heritage Live on the site, presented by Giles Cooper Entertainment.

Caroline’s mother Christine told MailOnline: ‘Last year was bigger and more successful than we could have ever imagined so we are thrilled the festival is coming back for a second time.’
