Love is Blind star Mark Anthony Cuevas dropped a bombshell on Instagram overnight, announcing that his marriage to Aubrey Rainey was over—but it seems he forgot to tell her first.

Mark and Aubrey, who tied the knot in 2022, had been together for two years following their engagement and the birth of two sons. 

On Friday, Mark took to Instagram to share the news of their split, revealing they had made the decision ‘a few weeks ago’ but would continue co-parenting their children.

‘After a lot of thought and conversations, Aubrey and I decided to part ways a few weeks ago,’ Mark wrote. ‘This wasn’t an easy decision, but we both believe it’s the best path forward for our individual growth and our family.’

However, it seems Mark missed an important step before making the announcement public—he forgot to tell Aubrey. She responded in the comments, saying, ‘This is news to me. lol.’

Fans flooded the comments, questioning why Mark would share such a personal update if Aubrey was unaware or not ready for the news to go public.

‘How come Aubrey doesn’t know? I’m lost,’ wrote one confused fan, as another chimed in, ‘You wanted to be married SOOOO badly and yet this the way you’re gonna tell your WIFE?????? Your kids and her don’t deserve you.’

One joked, ‘Not aubrey commenting this is news to her.’

Yet another slammed the star, writing, ‘Biggest fumble of dudes life. I bet he’ll be regretting this when he has to see @aubreycuevas_ being loved the right way by a real man raising his boys. Karma is a mean lady, sir. 

Back in 2022, the couple said ‘I do’ in front of 150 friends and family at the Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. 

Mark’s fellow Love Is Blind co-star, Matt Barnett, also had a special role in the ceremony as a groomsman. 

Mark and Aubrey’s two children, sons Ace and Axton, even participated in the ceremony as ring bearers.

Not only that, but the newlyweds also included their children in their first dance and named two drinks being offered that day after them: an old fashioned called the Axton and an espresso martini named the Ace.

Aubrey wore an Enzoani gown from the Radiant Bride boutique in Ohio for her big day.

Mark anticipated it would be an emotional affair for the couple, and advised her uncle, who officiated the nuptials to ‘keep it together’ at the altar.

Mark was previously engaged to fellow Love Is Blind contestant Jessica Batten, but she did not go through with the wedding.
