Love Is Blind star Shaina Hurley is expecting first child with her husband  Christos Lardakis… a year after they tied the knot

Shaina Hurley of Love Is Blind fame has announced she is expecting her first child with husband Christos Lardakis.

The 33-year-old Netflix star – who tied the knot with her beau in summer 2022 – shared the news with People on Tuesday.

‘We feel so thankful and grateful that we have been given such a blessing. Our hearts are full!’ shared the expectant mother,’ the TV personality gushed.

She added, ‘We cannot wait to start this next journey of parenthood together and to meet this little soul!’

Shaina appeared on season two of the streaming platform’s dating series, which premiered in February 2022.

While on the show, Hurley got engaged to cast member Kyle Abrams after her romantic connection with Shayne Jansen didn’t work out.

Hurley later ended her engagement to Abrams before leaving the show.

She and her now-husband had dated for more than a year before marrying at a Chicago courthouse in July 2022.

They then had another wedding in Vouliagmeni, Greece later in the month.

Christos is said to have proposed on March 10,  one week after he made his Instagram debut on Shaina’s page.

After the publication reported the couple’s baby news, Shaina dropped in on Instagram to reshare snapshots from the article.

‘We are proud to announce Baby Lardakis coming soon,’ she told her 247,000 followers. 

Christos is a residential/commercial development construction specialist and also co-owns a chain of breakfast eateries in the Chicago area with his family.

Hurley and Lardakis became husband and wife just four months after announcing their engagement.

At the time, a source told People: ‘Shaina is engaged. She’s been dating Christos for almost a year and this is the happiest I’ve ever seen her.’

It was added, ‘He has stood by her side through all of the Love Is Blind drama and has been her steady in the storm.’

The person close to the couple noted that Hurley is ‘such a sweetheart and has found a man who loves her and understands her.’
