Love Island 2021: Meet the latest Casa Amor Islanders!

Things are seriously heating up in the Love Island villa and the drama is expected to get red hot as a brand-new flux of islanders are set to shake-things up amid the highly-anticipated return of Casa Amor on Sunday.

Half of the new cast were announced on Saturday night and now the final six islanders have been revealed – with one girl already setting her sights on Jake Cornish, who has only just gone official with Liberty Poole.

The sexy singletons include racing driver Jack Barlow, 26, from East Sussex, trainee accountant Lillie Hayes, 22, from South Shields and 23-year-old influencer  and former WAG Clarisse Juliette, who is reportedly worth over £1million.

While the other new islanders include Performer Amy Day, 25, from Surrey, Barber Dale Mehmet, 22, from Glasgow and 23-year-old maintenance engineer Sam Jackson from Clitheroe.

As always, the Islanders must couple up in order to secure their place in the villa, with those who stay single finding themselves at risk of being dumped from the island.

And it’s certainly game on as the incoming islanders are on the hunt for love and it  could be heartbreak for fan favourite Liberty as one girl has set her sights on her man.

Lillie has revealed she fancies the water engineer, stating: ‘I’ve definitely got my eye on Jake. He’s 100% the type of boy I would go for at home. It’s too good of a match not to just go for.’

While Millie had also better watch out as hunky Liam is second on Lillie’s list.

Of the Welshman, she said: ‘Liam is definitely a dark horse for me, he’s like James Bond when you look at him, absolutely gorgeous. So he could be a very close second.’

And Lillie is certainly up for the challenge as when asked if she’ll step on toes to get her man, she replied: ‘I love a challenge. I’m just going to be myself. I’m quite cheeky, naturally flirty, make it clear what I want anyway.

‘If I get the signals of ‘back off, I’m sleeping outside by myself’ then I will… I’m going in there to date people I don’t usually date. I will explore other options. I’ll make it clear that I’m going in for that. I don’t mind stepping on toes. I’m there for the same reason they are.’

Meanwhile, racing car driver and coach Jack told how he’ll take the gentlemanly approach when it comes to getting the girl he wants.

Newcomer: Also heading into Casa Amor is footballer Alex Iwobi’s ‘millionaire’ model ex Clarisse Juliett who is no stranger to the limelight

On how he’ll approach a situation, he said: ‘I’m naturally a respectful guy so even if I needed to step on someone’s toes, I’d go around it in a respectful way. I appreciate that I’m going into Casa Amor so I don’t have that opportunity but I’m there for myself and I’m trying to find love. My competitive nature will come out when I’m there.’

Newcomer Clarisse meanwhile has already had a taste of fame, having formerly dated Premiere League footbeller Alex Iwobi, and has also being briefly involved with rapper Diddy’s son Justin Combs, 27.

The Jewellery business owner – who is said to already be worth more than £1million – was also linked to Rae Sremmurd rapper Swae Lee, 28, in 2019.

Swae’s then-girlfriend Marliesia Ortiz had accused the hit-maker of cheating on her with Clarisse while they holidayed together in Thailand.

On why she’s joined Love Island, Clarisse explained: ‘I’m bored of hugging my pillow… it’s time to find a boyfriend. I feel like guys are coming in here to actually find a girlfriend as well.’

And Faye will no doubt be on her guard as the stunner has confessed she likes the look of Teddy.

She said: ‘He’s tall, confident and smooth. I don’t like horrible, cocky guys. If they are honest, that’s what I’d prefer.’

Speaking of Clarisse’s already ‘huge following’, a source told The Sun: ‘Clarisse is almost like another Molly-Mae Hague in that she already has a huge following.’

They added: ‘First of all she’s stunning. But she’s really gained some fans on social media – mainly Instagram. She’s also got a blog and a popular YouTube channel.

‘But Clarisse isn’t just looks. She’s incredibly smart and has her own jewellery business.’

Elsewhere, performer Amy has detailed her strategy of getting the man of her dreams in Casa Amor.

She explained: ‘I am a girls’ girl, massive girls’ girl. But obviously I’m here to find love. So I would let them know I am interested and then gauge what they’re feeling as well.

‘I will step on toes if needs be, but that’s obviously not my aim. But they might also realise what they had was just because that’s all they had.’

While Barber Dale has no qualms about ruffling feathers when it comes to getting his girl, stating: ‘It is what it is, isn’t it? I’m not a bad guy who is going to steal somebody’s girl.

‘But if I want something then I’m going to pursue it. I would go about it all in the right way. Everybody would be well aware of what I was doing.’

Unfortunately for the villa boys, newcomer Sam has the same idea as Dale when it comes to finding a love match.

He said: ‘I’m happy to step on someone’s toes to get what I want. If that’s what I’ve got to do, I’ve got to do it.’

However, he was quick to add: ‘I am looking forward to meeting the boys as well, I’m a proper lads’ lad. I see myself getting on with the boys as well – it’ll be good to meet some new people and get a few bromances going.’

The six singletons join the other new arrivals set to enter the Mallorcan abode this weekend and they include DJ Kaila Troy, 28, from Dublin, car salesman Harry Young, 24, from Glasgow, Chris Hughes’ model ex Mary Bedford and 24-year-old Medhy Malanda – an American footballer originally from Belgium.

The other newcomers include model and influencer Salma Naran, 20, from Dublin and strategic marketing consultant Matthew Macnabb, 26, from Belfast.

Several of the new boys already have their eyes on original islander Kaz – who after a rocky start recently found love with newcomer Tyler – , including Harry and Medhy.

Asked which girls he was most interested in Medhy – who has been single for four years – said: ‘Definitely Kaz. Kaz’s personality is fiery, she’s got energy, she’s funny and she’s got a beautiful smile and she’s a nice girl in general. And Millie seems like a nice girl and she’s obviously good looking as well.’

‘Stepping on toes is not even a question! It’s part of the game, if you’re not happy to have your toes stepped on then don’t come to the show; especially when it comes to Casa Amor. I’m here for that.

‘I am a happy person, I’m a lot like Kaz. I’ve always got a lot of energy. I’m genuine and loyal. That’s how I am.’

While Harry also has his eyes on the beauty, saying: ‘Kaz has always been in my top three. But once I’m in there and speaking with people, it could change.’

Why have you signed up for Love Island? I’ve never been in love. What better place to have a tunnel vision and really finding your one? It’s the perfect atmosphere, you don’t have the outside world distractions. It looks like time moves fast in there in a good way – it’s like, do you actually like me or not? In the real world it’s so wishy-washy. With this, it’s just, you need to know.

Name: Amy Day

Asked if she will step on toes to get who she wants, she said: ‘I’m just going to get in there, see how Liam actually is feeling about Millie really and then reassess. I’m definitely not one to lay it on thick.

‘I’ll just do a bit of flirting and see how it goes. That’s the whole aim isn’t it? If I go in there and I really like Liam I’ll have to step on Millie’s toes. If all the boys are coupled up you will be stepping on toes. If I could get away with not having a conversation I probably would as I hate confrontation, but if I need to I would.’

DJ Kaila is also keen to meet the boys, saying: ‘Real life dating has not been doing me any favours at all. I’ve had it.

Meanwhile Matthew won’t be afraid to ruffle a few feathers, saying: ‘I won’t have much of a problem with that. The guys haven’t known the girls that long so it’s not really a huge issue. I’m sure if they have a problem they’ll approach me.’

New boy Medhy fits the ‘tall, dark and handsome’ description that many of the girls have said is their type on paper and could put some existing couples under threat.

Medhy has an understated social media following with five thousand followers on Instagram.

The self proclaimed ‘prince of the city’ last posted earlier this month and has kept a low profile more recently in quarantine.

The athlete often sets pulses racing with snaps from his American football training as he puts his large biceps on full display.

There’s also a hint that the new Love Island star could be religious as his TikTok bio includes a quote from Psalm 23:4.

It reads: ‘Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me’.

Medhy’s profile sees him jet between London and Brussels and he’s now set to step out at the Casa Amor villa in Mallorca.

The Casa Amor stage of the series has historically sparked the most drama and is seen as the ultimate test for relationships.

Builders have been working frantically to get the new villa ready in time, after choosing to relocate from the rival property used in recent series.

It is believed the Casa Amor twist will even see the return of Love Island host Laura Whitmore, who hasn’t filmed from the villa in Mallorca since the start of the series.

The bombshell scenes are expected to air next week, with Islanders such as Mary currently isolating in a secret location ahead of the group’s big arrival on the show.

Viewers will hope Liberty’s partner Jake won’t be led astray by Mary, after he previously admitted to having a weakness to blondes.

Mary dated former Love Island favourite Chris, 28, shortly after his split from Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, 30, in August last year.

And producers believe the future Islander, from Wakefield, will be equally appealing to the current crop of male Islanders.

A source said: ‘Mary will turn heads, there’s no doubt about that. She’s a model, into her fashion and looks great in a bikini. Even the lads in solid relationships might start to wobble in her company.’

Mary has her own YouTube channel and boasts 185,000 Instagram followers, including former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan and ex-Love Islanders Molly-Mae Hague and Kaz Crossley.

She was first spotted by a fashion brand while buying a tracksuit during a school trip with her textiles class, and was approached to model for them.
