Love Island 2022 SPOILER: Danica goes on a date with guy she couples up with and one boy is DUMPED

Sunday’s Love Island will see one boy dumped from the Island, after new bombshell Danica Taylor chooses who to couple up with.

Friday night’s episode ended with a cliffhanger as Danica was seen in the moments before making her choice. 

And that decision will be revealed on Sunday night, with Dami Hope, Luca Bish, Davide Sanclimente, Ikenna Ekwonna, Remi Lambert, Jay Younger, Jacques O’Neill and Andrew Le Page all hoping they are not the one to be left single. 

She said: ‘I’ve decided to couple up with this boy. I have not even been here 24 hours so this is a really weird situation for me to be in. 

‘I’ve barely got to know any of you. You’re all lovely boys, but I didn’t come in here to play safe. I need to sort-of follow of my heart.

‘I can kind of only go on what I can see at face value and somebody who I feel like is usually my type.

‘I need to explore that unfortunately so I’m going to have to follow my heart on this one. The boy that I want to couple up with is…’

Who will Danica choose, and who will be left single and dumped from the Island? 

Then, following the previous night’s recoupling the Islanders will be relaxing in the garden when Danica receives a text revealing today she’ll be going on a date with the boy she’s chosen to couple up with.

Leaving the Villa the newly formed couple make their way to the beach as they enjoy a romantic shoreside setting complete with picnic blanket and drinks.

Will Danica and her date make waves? Is this the start of a budding new romance? Or is the tide already out on this one?

Speaking on the date, Danica says: ‘Honestly, this is probably the second genuine date I think I’ve been on.’

Her date replies: ‘Wow, pleasure.’

He goes on to add: ‘I am sure a lot of boys would want to kiss you.’

Danica questions: ‘Kisses on first dates?’

But what’s in store for this newly formed couple? Only time will tell if the chemistry is or isn’t there…

Danica, who said she would be ‘dancing’ on toes instead of stepping on them, made her surprise arrival during the sex-sea challenge, before greeting the Islanders back at the villa.
