Love Island 2023: Ron gets his head turned AGAIN after Samie’s bombshell arrival left Lana concerned

Love Island’s Ron Hall has had his head turned once again after the bombshell arrival of 22-year-old Samie Elishi left the villa shaken up.

The Essex boy, who is coupled up with Lana Jenkins, admitted that he thought Samie was a ‘good looking girl’ and that she was his type ‘on paper’.

This left Lana, 25, looking rather concerned – and it only gets worse the next morning when Ron, also 25, has a very flirty conversation with the Love Island newbie while sat on the daybeds.

On the evening that bombshell Samie arrived in the South African villa, Tanyel asks Ron: ‘Does Kai fancy her?’

Ron replies: ‘Don’t start fishing off of me, all of the boys think she’s very good looking and I’ve been the guinea pig of what not to do and what happens if you’re not open and transparent with who you’re with.’

Later that evening, Lana joins Ron, Will and Jessie for a chat to discuss Samie’s arrival and says: ‘She’s lovely isn’t she?’

Ron replies: ‘She’s a good looking girl and on the outside she is my type but I don’t know the girl and I didn’t go for my type in the first place here, did I?

And as he appeared to be making a move once again, many viewers took to Twitter to dub him a ‘player’, as one penned:  ‘Why are we not surprised’.

During the episode, the boys received a text as they learned new bombshell Samie was on her way to the villa.

And as the girls watched from the balcony, the boys gathered around the firepit to welcome the 22-year-old beauty.

Admitting she likes a ‘bad boy with a good heart’, Samie brought the fire as she got to know the boys and grilled them on their current connections.

‘I have been a bit of a naughty boy, I’ve been in quite a few couples. But yeah, me and Lana are in a good place right now, but nobody is closed off yet, we’ll see,’ said Ron.

And later heading to the beach hut, Ron admitted that the new arrival had left him confused.

And talking with the boys later, Ron wondered if he would be able to resist the temptation of getting to know yet another girl.

Ron’s revelation comes after he turned his full attention on Lana and explained that he would be ‘grafting’ to get her back after the duo cooled things off. 

The couple appeared to be going steady until new girl Ellie Spence made her arrival and shocked the villa be coupling up with Ron, before Lana got a chance.

And despite the financial advisor assuring Lana that he would be cutting things off with Ellie and had no interest in her, he then decided to get to know Ellie.

Lana then took a step back from the situation, telling Ron: ‘I’m not doing a trio thing, I am not second best. So that’s that, I’m going to be taking a step back now.’

But after going for a date with Ellie the following day, Ron decided that his heart was with Lana as he decided to put his full attention on the make-up artist.
