Fans of Love Island were left baffled as Dr Alex suddenly decided to break up with Alexandra after a string of romantic days and evenings together.
After hitting a rocky patch last week, the couple had gotten things back on track, spending a night together in the Hideaway the other evening and, during Thursday’s show, hitting the road for a lavish ride in a red Ferrari.
But Dr Alex made a shock decision at the end of the latest instalment of the ITV2 reality series which saw him end things with the brunette bombshell.

Telling her he’s worried about how fast their relationship is moving, she accused him of leading her on and branded him ‘pathetic’ before storming off.
As she left, she declared: ‘You’ve wasted my time and you’ve wasted your own, shame on you!’
Viewers of the show were left reeling after this, fleeing to Twitter to express their confusion over the doctor’s sporadic and unceremonious decisions.
‘7 weeks in a Villa with a group of good looking & nice girls and the only love & affection you feel is towards a Ferrari. Alexandra is right, you are pathetic Alex!’ someone slammed on the micro-blogging site.
Someone else despaired: ‘Alexandra is right… Alex is pathetic!! He’s waited all this time for a lovely girl, a girl that actually wants to be with him… Now he’s got her, he doesn’t want her…!’
