Love Island Australia host Sophie Monk reveals her very awkward Brad Pitt encounter during a six-minute smoke break at a studio in LA
Sophie Monk has revealed she once had an awkward encounter with Hollywood star, Brad Pitt.
Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the Love Island Australia host, 43 said she was so starstruck while meeting Brad she was left literally speechless.
‘I was in on the Warner Brothers lot in Los Angeles in 2008 to film a movie called Spring Breakdown. And suddenly Brad pulled up on a motorcycle,’ she began.
‘He was smoking a cigarette and my stylist said to go out and talk to him. So I walked out and asked for a lighter.’
The blonde beauty said she was hoping to have an engaging conversation with the Bullet Train star, 59, but things did not go according to plan.

‘He spent minutes checking his jeans and motorbike for a lighter. I just stood there and he finally lit my cigarette. I had no conversation for him,’ she joked.
She said they both then stood there for six minutes enjoying a smoke break together without saying a single word.
Sophie added she didn’t want to look like a fangirl by asking Pitt if he was there to film a movie, which left her with absolutely nothing to ask him.

Last year, the singer-turned-TV host revealed she had an equally awkward encounter with legendary rapper Snoop Dogg.
The London-born star said she once recorded some songs with Snoop which were never released after the rapper ghosted her.
She host told Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa that Snoop, 51, real name is Calvin Broadus Jr, was supposed to perform some rap verses on her tracks.

The pair met when Sophie played his fiancée in an MTV ad that never aired.
She said her tracks were never completed as the California Gurls rapper stopped replying to her mid-production.
‘The songs were obviously very s**t because I never heard from him after that,’ she joked.
