Love Island Australia star Anna McEvoy reveals why she only dates older men

Love Island Australia star Anna McEvoy has revealed the reason why she likes to date older men.

The reality TV star, 29, told 9Honey on Wednesday, that she prefers dating older men because they’re more ‘intriguing and attractive’.

‘Older guys, they’ve been around a little bit.So they have more adult chats and I think they’re more intriguing,’ she said.

‘I’ve always been really attracted to like an older look, more mature looking men,’ she added.

Anna went on to say she’s always been ‘pretty mature’ and has struggled dating guys her own age.

The Love Island star revealed she’s dated guys as high as 15 years her senior but her current boyfriend Michael Staples, is only four years older than her.

Anna went public with her boyfriend Michael in October last year.

She made things official on Instagram by sharing a photo of herself and Michael kissing.

She later went into detail about the budding romance on her podcast, Where’s Your Head At?, with co-host and former Love Island co-star Matt Zukowski.

‘I was like, the happiest person alive, I still am, I feel like I’m beaming,’ she gushed.

‘I think we were both ready for it. We had been seeing each other for about seven-and-a-half weeks, and they say the two-month rule is the perfect time,’ she added.

Anna rose to fame on season two of Love Island Australia, and won the show with Josh Packham.

The couple split in December 2020, and she said on Instagram at the time: ‘It has been quite hard… It’s extremely difficult to break up with someone who you still love but it is the right thing to do.’
