Tak Chipangura told Who magazine following his elimination: ‘In my book, it’s pretty clear that Claudia and Austen are going to win.’

Vakoo Kauapirura added: ‘I think they’re such an amazing couple and they are who I’m rooting for personally.’

In addition to Austen and Claudia, the other remaining couples are Mitch Eliot and Phoebe Spiller, Callum Jones and Madeline Wilcox, and Al Perkins and Jess Losurdo.

Mavroidakis added that with the exception of some format points, delivered by host Sophie Monk, Love Island has no script.

‘Every word comes from the mouths of the Islanders, never the pen of writers,’ he said.
