A devastated Any Hart refused to hold grudges as she brought a premature end to her emotional roller coaster in the Love Island villa on Tuesday evening.

The flight attendant voluntarily left the show following the collapse of her relationship with Curtis Pritchard and his subsequent developing friendship with man-eater Maura Higgins.

And she admitted to holding no grudge against the professional dancer, whose initial attraction to axed Jourdan Riane ultimately derailed their formerly rock solid romance.

It’s goodbye: A devastated Any Hart refused to hold grudges as she brought a premature end to her emotional roller coaster in the Love Island villa on Tuesday evening

Speaking to Curtis before making her exit, she said:  ‘I came in here and I thought I was going to meet some nice people and I’d probably date one of them and they’d be alright and then I met you and you completely turned my whole world around.  We made each other happy.

‘All I’ve ever wanted is for you to be happy. I want us to be best, best friends but we both need to move on and we both need to find someone that is going to make us as happy as we make them.’

Amy, who previously admitted she has never had a serious boyfriend, added that her devastation over Curtis’ wandering eye has left her unable to contemplate the idea of coupling with another man.

‘Realistically for me, I’m not going to be ready in the next three weeks to meet someone else,’ she said.

‘Realistically for you, you will not be happy all the time here because you’ll always put me first because you’re such a good person. That’s why I love you so much and that’s why I want you to be happy.

‘You are not going to be happy whilst I’m still here. So, I’m leaving today but it’s a positive thing because I’m going to go and start the rest of my life today.

Curtis injected: ‘Do not leave this place, please.’

‘I’m going to let you go and you pursue whoever it is you want to pursue and hope that you find whatever you are looking for. Once this is all done we will have the best friendship you have ever seen in your life.’

‘I hope that you find someone that makes you so, so happy.’

Later discussing her decision in the Beach Hut, Amy said: ‘I have been on such a huge journey, I was terrified of nobody picking me… I did not imagine that first night I would meet this boy [Curtis] that would change my life and change my mindset.

Amy then added that she won’t be holding any grudges when leaving the villa and offered her well-wishes to her former flame.

‘I want him to be happy and I want him to meet someone else so I’m leaving here today not holding any grudges against anyone, not against Curtis, not against Maura, no one.

Explaining her hopes for the future, Amy said: ‘I never thought I would fall in love, I never thought someone would make me feel so special that I would fall in love with them and I did and it makes me realise that that will happen for me again, just not in here.’

After coming to the conclusion that she wanted to leave the show, Amy opened up to her fellow Islanders about how she had been feeling.

She said: ‘I have made some of the best friends I have ever had… I love you all dearly. Obviously, as you all know, I did fall in love. And when you love someone you have to let them go.’

Amy then sweetly admitted that she would take the bad to have the good again, which is when she realised her time in the villa had ended.

‘My Love Island journey finished last night when I sat at that fire pit and I looked at it and thought, “Even if I had to take the last week, I would take it if it meant I could take those first four weeks over again.”

‘I want to leave in a positive way, surrounded by the people I love, like this… I love you all so much and I cannot tell you what you’ve all done for me.’

Reflecting on her exit, Amber said: ‘Amy was a comfort blanket I didn’t know I had, we were total opposites but I love her to bits.’

It comes as it was claimed that she is in hiding ahead of her return to the UK following her departure from the ITV2 dating show.

After it was revealed that Maura was making a move on Curtis, Amy asked her for a chat, during which, Maura explained: ‘From day one, I said that he [Curtis] would have been one of the guys I would have gone for…

‘I do fancy him. I’m an honest person, I can’t hold back, so I did tell him that I liked him’, as she left Amy heartbroken with her words.

The blonde beauty responded: ‘But not honest enough to come and tell me first that you were going to do it? A lot of stuff makes sense to me now. You were one of the most vocal that he didn’t deserve a second chance.’

Maura replied: ‘If you honestly think I’ve done that to swoop in, you’re very wrong.’
