Fans had tissues at the ready as the episode kicked off to an emotional start – as the Islanders continued with their final dates.
But the contestants soon came crashing back down to reality as the villa was rocked by a text which announced the couples must vote amongst them for who they think is the least compatible.
The tense vote saw Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack automatically secured their place in Monday’s final as they were the only couple to receive no votes from their fellow Islanders.
The vote saw Davide and Ekin-Su receive four votes, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish receive three votes, Paige Thorne and Adam Collard receive two, and one vote for Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri.

After watching the event unfold, one fan wrote on Twitter: ‘If Ekin-Su and Davide don’t win I’ll be shocked. True love if I’ve ever seen it.’
Another added: ‘The only reason all the islanders chose Ekin-Su and Davide is because they feel threatened’
‘Davide and Ekin-Su got the most votes??? But out of everyone they’ve grown the most as a couple?? These other islanders are snakey asf,’ a third penned.
One said: ‘Wow, tactical or what! Davide and Ekin-Su are the only two that I think will actually stay together and deserve to win!’
Another wrote: ‘Of course they are going to vote for Ekin-Su and Davide as they know they will win so they want to get rid of them’
