Love Island favourite reveals she’s been CUT from upcoming All Stars series just days before the launch

A Love Island favourite has revealed she has been cut from upcoming All Stars series just days before the launch.

Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown, 26, who starred in series nine of the ITV show in last years winter villa, announced the news in a YouTube video on Monday.

The dating contest, which released a brand new teaser last month, is expected to feature former alumni across the globe continuing their quest to find their dream partner.

Shedding some light on recent rumours, Zara confirmed that sadly she would not be joining the cast.

She explained: ‘Of course it would have been nice to have been given a chance to go back into the villa.’

Zara continued: ‘And I know a lot of you are wondering if I’ll be making an appearance on All Stars in January.

‘First of all, just want to say there’s a lot that goes into a decision like that to go back onto the same reality TV show that you just left.

‘It is a very intense environment one where the contestants of course do not have full control, my appearance didn’t necessarily go all the way in my favour the first time around.

‘But I’m a believer of new beginnings. And you know all stars. I mean, well, it’s all stars. You know, it’s not been done before. It’s in the name really. It sounds pretty cool. It sounds pretty exciting.

‘So what better opportunity for a second chance right? So I was open to it.

‘I have recently been informed that I did not make the cut. But it’s all good. I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. If my reappearance on the show isn’t meant to be.

‘It just means that I’m destined to take a different path. When one door closes, another one will surely open.’

It comes after Love Island All Stars has reportedly been thrown into chaos after the cast demanded more money, just weeks ahead from it’s huge launch on ITV1 and ITV2.

The new series is expected to feature singeltons from previous series as they continue their quest to find their dream partner, with MailOnline previously revealing that spoken-for stars could also made cameo appearances on the show.

According to The Sun the reality stars, who have not yet been officially announced, are refusing to sign their contracts after claiming a 433% increase on their original fee was simply not enough.

The publication reported that the singeltons were offered £2K a week for their appearance in the new villa which works out to be 433% more than their original stints which earned them just £375 every seven days.

A source said: ‘[The cast] are pushing ITV for more cash because they’re saying £2,000 a week isn’t enough.’

MailOnline have contacted ITV for comment.
