Love Island SPOILER: The villa turns on Jessie

The Love Island villa is set to be rocked in the wake of Casey’s disagreement with Will and Tom after he claimed they sided with Claudia over him.

While the boys kissed and made up following the row, which started after both Will and Tom picked to ‘marry’ Claudia during the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge, it seems that the dust has not yet settled on the argument.

After Will apologised to Casey for seemingly ‘not having his back’, he confided in Jessie what had happened between the boys following the game.

In scenes set to air on Tuesday night, things blow up between Jessie and Casey as he shouts at her to ‘get a life’ when he overhears her discussing it with Will.

Earlier in the episode, Jessie confronts Casey about the dispute with Will, telling him that she didn’t think her beau needed to apologise for what he did.

After her discussion with Casey, Will and Jessie catch up in bed as she says: ‘I don’t think anyone speaks their true minds here, I voiced my feelings towards Casey.’

Casey overhears and says: ‘Get a life Jessie.’

Will says: ‘It wasn’t about you.’

Casey replies: ‘I heard my name.’

However it seems that Casey is not the only Islander habouring an issue with Jessie,  as Rosie talks to Lana and Olivia about overhearing Jessie mention Casey.

Olivia says: ‘I just don’t think the intentions are that genuine.’

Rosie adds: ‘I really hope for Will’s sake they are.’

Later the same evening, the Islanders head out into the garden where Casey catches up with Maxwell in light of the conversations he’s been having with Jessie.

As they talk Maxwell says: ‘When it was the Casa recoupling and Jessie came back and realised Will was single and she started crying the entire time I was looking for a tear and I couldn’t find a tear.’

Viewers watcjed as Will broke down when Jessie arrived back at the villa during the Casa Amor recoupling, when he revealed he hadn’t been strictly faithful during their time apart.

While Jessie appeared devastated by the news from Will, Maxwell has now claimed that he didn’t see a single tear from her during the exchange.

Jessie’s issue with Casey began after Will told her Casey admitted he had not felt ‘backed’ by the boys during the challenge.

Jessie tells Will: ‘It’s a little bit disappointing Casey sees it that way to be honest, I can understand why he would feel that way but it’s a bit of a stretch.’

Will explains: ‘I said, “I’m sorry that you feel that way, my intentions were never to hurt you, they were to make sure that Claudia is ok.”

Later on, Jessie pulls Casey for a chat and says: ‘Firstly, are you ok? The boys mentioned that you were a bit annoyed?’

Jessie goes on to tell Casey: ‘The boys weren’t trying to not stick up for you, they were just trying to console Claudia.’

Casey responds: ‘The boys have apologised to me so it’s fine.’

Jessie says: ‘I’m going to be honest, I don’t think that they needed to apologise.’

As the conversation continues, Casey says: ‘I don’t understand why you’re trying to get involved in this, I don’t know why you’re getting your two pence involved.’

Jessie says: ‘Because I feel bad for Will because I saw how upset he got about you being surprised at him.’

Casey responds: ‘I really don’t understand why you’re getting involved in this, it’s really got nothing to do with you. I’ve literally been through this with everyone, I don’t need to go through it with you.’

During Monday’s episode the recruitment consultant had four cream pies smashed into his face after many of the female Islanders were left unimpressed by his treatment of former partner Claudia.

Episode scenes echoed last year’s challenge which led to more than 1,500 Ofcom complaints from viewers about how dancer and model Tasha Ghouri, 23, was treated when she was pied three times – with some calling the boys’ behaviour ‘bullying’.

Claudia had fallen for Casey after they were coupled-up just three days before Casa Amor and she remained loyal to him despite his Casa antics, but he has since recoupled with newcomer Rosie Seaford, 28.

And while Claudia was seen in floods of tears over Casey’s decision to move on with someone else, fans insisted he did not deserve to be targeted so many times during the challenge.

The game sees each Islander choosing a fellow singleton to snog, another to marry before throwing a cream pie in a third’s face.

Casey chose to snog Rosie and marry Claudia during the challenge in an effort to make peace, but Claudia was left infuriated by his choice.

After many of the girls pied Casey in retaliation for his recent actions, Claudia was the fourth and last in line to pie him, with her telling the group: ‘I decided to pie this boy because you can’t have your cake and eat it and I will be no one’s option.’

The situation left many viewers unimpressed, with fans of the show taking to Twitter to express their feelings.

One person wrote: ‘So let me get this straight. When Tasha was pied by the boys they all got in trouble for bullying but crickets when it’s for Casey hmmm.’

Another person posted: ‘Remember last year when Tasha got pied and everyone said it was misogynistic and bullying? Where’s this energy gone for Casey?’

While someone else tweeted: ‘The girls are bullying Casey….OFCOM!’

‘The girls need to stop bullying Casey! He’s done absolutely nothing wrong! He was honest with Claudia from the start,’ shared another person.

While someone else commented: ‘A lot of double standards and bullying happening in the villa – I feel bad for Casey. Claudia’s so butt hurt.’

Another viewer tweeted: ‘Personally don’t think Casey did anything wrong and the targeting on him in the challenge was borderline bullying’

Someone else shared: ‘Im sorry but that episode of #loveIsland was uncomfortable to watch. The girls and Claudia were borderline bullying Casey. I love Claudia but I feel like it’s gone too far now. How come Tanya didn’t get the same treatment off everyone when she done worse to Shaq with Martin?’

‘What has Casey actually done?’, asked another viewer. ‘Why didn’t they all pie Lana then.’

Another person wrote: ‘Unless I’ve missed something, I don’t know what Casey’s getting all these pies for? As far as I can see, he’s been respectful and he hasn’t lied. They’re on #loveisland for God’s sake!’

‘Casey doesn’t deserve all these pies,’ wrote another viewer, while someone else shared: ‘Every girl is gonna pie Casey cause auntie Claudia.’

Love Island continues on Tuesday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
