Love Island star Chloe Burrows reveals ex Toby Aromolaran’s reaction to her joining Celebs Go Dating

Chloe Burrow has revealed what her ex-boyfriend Toby Aromolaran said when she told him she had signed up to Celebs Go Dating.

The former Love Islander, 27, split with ex Toby, 24, after they met on the ITV show in 2021 before splitting a year after.

At the Celebs Go Dating launch event, Chloe told The Mirror: ‘We were speaking, we were quite friendly and I told him about it. It wasn’t a difficult conversation because we are friends.

‘I know he said in an article recently that we don’t speak but, we’re not on bad terms. Out of respect, I did tell him and he was like, “Do it.” I don’t know if he was jumping for joy but, he knew.’

Before they broke up, they moved into a £1million Essex mansion last November and celebrated the milestone by toasting with champagne.

Their relationship was Toby’s first after he admitted before going on the show that he hadn’t been in love before.

The blonde beauty said the split was ‘the worst thing she’s ever been through’ and thanked pal Millie for helping her get through the hard time. 

Last year, a source told the MailOnline that they separated after a difficult few months of trying to make the relationship work. 

‘Chloe and Toby put everything into their relationship – but it just hasn’t worked out between them’, a source explained.

‘There’s been no wrongdoing, they have simply grown apart, and over time realised it’s better for them both to split.

‘Naturally, Chloe has found the breakup difficult but being able to spend time abroad with Millie has given her the space she needed to start moving on.’ 

But now, Chloe will seek advice from dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson in the new series of Celebs Go Dating.

A recently revealed clip shared to the show’s Twitter, the celebrities invite the public to apply for their chance to bag a date with them.

A source told The Sun: ‘The stars are all meeting for filming today and the Anna, Paul and Doctor Tara cannot wait to get started.’

They continued: ‘Love Islanders Chloe and Adam have already tried to find love on TV so the experts will have their work cut out.’
