Love Island: Viewers claim the show is FIXED after former flames Curtis and Amy Hart hold hands

Love Island viewers have taken fire at the reality show after Curtis Pritchard and his former love interest Amy Hart were spotted holding hands just days after splitting up on Sunday’s episode.

Eagle-eyed fans were left in a state of confusion after the ballroom dancer, 23, assisted his former ‘half-girlfriend’, 26, down the garden steps as they ran to see Craig David for the Ministry of Sound party.

The scene came just days after Curtis confessed to the international flight attendant that his head may yet again be turned in the villa.

Following the baffling scene, viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the clip and claimed that the show was fixed.

One viewer wrote: ‘Curtis and Amy holding hands and running down to Craig David then the rest of the show they will show them hating each other. I suppose ‘it is what it is’ the show is set up. #Love Island.’

‘So you’re tryna (sic) tell me that Curtis and Amy hate each other but they still holding hands going down the stairs? Ok’, another echoed.

While a third fan commented: ‘Curtis and Amy holding hands coming out to watch Craig David, I have never seen this show move fixed in my life.’

The beady-eyed viewers continued: ‘Curtis and Amy have broke up but they were just running down the stairs holding hands and laughing.

‘Very confused as to why we just saw Amy and Curtis running out holding hands looking really happy when a few minutes before she was crying over him??’

‘Anyone else think that’s odd?? Makes me question how real everything is. #loveisland.’

This is not the first time viewers were left convinced the show is set-up, as last month, fans noted an inconsistency between scenes including Anna Vakili and reject Yewande Biala.

In a previous episode, the girls were seen chatting to Lucie Donlan about her friendship with the boys however during the chat, Anna, 28, and Yewande, 23, were seen to swap places within seconds.

As well as the bizarre place swap, fans insisted one of Danny’s recoupling speeches, where he dumped Yewande from the villa in place of Arabella Chi, was written by producers.

While the show has been plagued with rumours of set-ups for a lengthy time, the latest eagle-eyed spot from viewers has reignited claims.

As Lucie was seen to breakdown over the rift about her friendships with the boys and the lack of time she spends with the girls, the ladies gathered round the firepit.

In between shots, Anna and Yewande were seen to move places while chatting and offering advice – leading to renewed fix claims.

In response to The Sun’s article pointing out the gaffe, one fan took to Twitter to pen: ‘Wait, are there people who don’t understand the E N T I R E thing is fake?!’

As well as the inaccuracy, it was claimed Danny’s controversial speech was written by producers as he intentionally used the word ‘intellectual’ to throw fans.

While speaking about the girl he was going to pick, he referred to his partner as ‘intellectual’, which caused fans to think he was choosing scientist Yewande over model Arabella, however this was not to be.

Fans soon took to Twitter to voice their outrage, with one writing: ‘Well it’s clear ‘the producers’ have influenced the recoupling.’

When contacted by MailOnline, a spokesperson for Love Island said: ‘No the show is not fixed or script.’

Last week, Curtis confessed to his former flame that his head had been turned by the arrival of the new Love Islander Jourdan Riane, who has since coupled up with Danny Williams.

Following his break up with Amy, he went on to admit: ‘It’s probably going to be horrible to hear but I do feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.’

Curtis further infuriated the former beauty queen during Sunday night’s show after he agreed to offer Maura Higgins a ballroom dance lesson, with Amy watching on from the kitchen.

After previously admitting to pal Lucie that she had started to develop feelings for the dancer, Maura decided to make her feelings known to Curtis on Sunday by pulling him aside for a chat.

The Irish ring girl told Curtis: ‘Well this is very awkward for me, so this might come as a shock.’

She continued: ‘So obviously you were coupled up with Amy and when I came in here a lot of the girls asked me who would you go for if you came in earlier on, and I said you.

‘But I wouldn’t have done that because you were very strong [with Amy] and I wouldn’t want to get in the way of that. But obviously now, you’re single!’

Maura added: ‘I just wanted to let you know that I do have feelings for you… you’re in shock aren’t you.’
