Love Island: ‘We shouted at the TV a few times!’ Liam’s dad calls him out on his Casa Amor behaviour

It’s set to be an emotional penultimate episode of Love Island tonight, with the islanders’ families arriving at the famous Spanish villa.

And the bookies’ favourites to win the series, Millie Court, 24, and Liam Reardon, 22, will be surprised by their loved ones during Sunday’s episode, after Millie receives a text showing a selfie of her mum and sister alongside Liam’s mum and dad.

Realising they are outside the front of the villa, the couple are then stunned to see them walk into the garden.

Millie and Liam’s relationship’s hit a bump in the road when the Welshman ‘cheated’ on her with bombshell Lillie Haynes in Casa Amor.

But the pair patched things up and have since gone from strength-to-strength, becoming ‘exclusive’ last month and professing their love on their ‘final’ date.

But Liam’s dad Paul is quick to pull his son on his Casa Amor antics and teases: ‘We shouted at the TV a few times.’

‘You hold your hand up and you take the blame, well done.’

Millie receives the seal of approval all round, with Liam’s mum Donna saying of the Essex beauty: ‘You look really happy! You should be, she’s gorgeous!’

‘We love Millie, she’s lush,’ with Paul adding, ‘she’s lovely – she’s obviously as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside.’

Donna tells her son: ‘We can see you’re really happy – she’s for you.’

Millie’s mum Esme and sister Jessie are just as on board with the relationship as Liam’s parents, with Esme saying of the bricklayer: ‘I can just see what a lovely boy he is – genuinely nice boy.’

Jessie adds: ‘ It’s so clear how much you like each other. It’s so lovely to watch, you just look so happy together.’

Millie and Liam’s relationship has often been compared to that of comedy series characters Gavin and Stacey, due to the Wales and Essex connection.

Discussing the distance between their hometowns, Esme says: ‘It’s about three hours, I googled it.’

Millie replies: ‘Three hours isn’t that bad – we’ve both just said that no matter what happens, we need to make sure we’ve got a date in, make time for each other.’

The gorgeous pair are in very high spirits following the surprise visit.

After both families meet, Millie gushes: “It’s just really nice to see our two families together and combined as one because for our future that’s going to be an important thing. I just feel so happy right now.’

Liam, who reveals he teared up when he saw his mum and dad coming around the corner, adds: “Moments like these you appreciate family, you appreciate love!’
