Love Island’s Amber Gill marks footballer Jen Beattie’s 32nd birthday

Amber Gill shared a sweet picture with her girlfriend Jen Beattie as she marked the Arsenal player’s 32nd birthday on Saturday.

The former Love Island star, 25, took to her Instagram Stories to share a gushing post and throwback snaps to celebrate her girlfriend’s birthday.

She shared one cosy picture of the pair holding hands, with Amber looking effortlessly glamorous in a strapless white dress.

Amber styled her curled tresses loosely across her shoulders and accentuated her striking features with lashings of mascara.

The TV personality looked as loved-up as ever as she held hands with Jen, who cut a trendy figure in black trousers and a dark T-shirt, worn over a short-sleeved jacket.

Amber and Jen were first linked back in December and kept their romance under wraps, before featuring in an array of loved-up posts on each other’s social media. 

Her gushing tribute comes after Amber opened up about her sexuality as she said she’s always been ‘free spirited’.

As she made her way to see Arsenal Women beat Leicester City 1-0, Amber answered some of her fans’ questions in an Instagram Q&A. 

Sharing some photos to Instagram, she wrote an encouraging message for a follower who was ‘struggling to come to terms’ with their own sexuality.

Amber explained: ‘I’ve always been a free spirited babes. Love you who you love, not a***d. So when I figured out I wasn’t just an ally of the community I was a member, I was like cute. 

‘Talk to people close to you that you trust about it. You can DM me if you want to. 

‘Feel good about it you are a part of the best people in the world. Don’t put pressure on to label yourself.’

In an exclusive chat with MailOnline, Amber said: ‘I just know there was a certain point where I was like I want to pursue serious relationships with women – I’m still figuring it all out.’

On removing the stigma around coming out as an adult, Amber added: ‘I bet loads of people feel if they’ve got to a certain age, that they can’t come out now and you can, whenever you want. You can decide whatever you want for yourself, whenever you want.’
