Love Island Australia star Anna McEvoy has just purchased a two-bedroom apartment in Sydney with her fiancé Michael Staples.

And on Tuesday, the blonde beauty, 30, had some choice words for an Instagram follower who asked her: ‘Why a unit and not a house? Not very family friendly…’

‘We found a unit that we love and is everything we need. Thanks for your concern though,’ was her cheeky response.

Anna also posted some loved-up photos of her and Michael popping open a bottle of champagne to celebrate buying their dream property.

The stunner could not wipe the smile off her face as she posed up a storm with her hunky beau to commemorate the momentous occasion.

‘It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Little bit of a downsize from where we are now but we LOVE it and it’s all ours!’ she excitedly told her fans.

She also posted some snaps of the unit’s stylish dining room to showcase its elegant design and the scenic view they will have from its French windows.

Earlier this year, Anna opened up about her dream destination wedding plans on her podcast Where’s Your Head At?, which she co-hosts with Matt Zukowski.

Anna revealed she’d paid the deposit for the venue, located on the Greek island of Corfu, and was excited about planning the rest of her wedding, after getting engaged to Michael in October.

The couple decided to marry in Corfu after travelling through other Greek islands in the past.

Their wedding venue is part of a fully renovated nine-bedroom estate, where the bride and groom’s family and close friends will be staying.

‘We put a deposit down on a wedding venue in Corfu, but Michael and I have both never been to Corfu,’ she said.

The couple acknowledged a lot of people wouldn’t be able to attend their wedding due to the distance so an intimate engagement party for family and friends was held in April.

The podcaster rose to fame on season two of Love Island Australia in 2019 and won the show with Josh Packham, but they split in December 2020.

She went Instagram Official with Michael, a Group Business Manager at Channel Nine, in September 2021.
