Love Island’s Georgia Steel ‘being mentored by Mark Wright’

Love Island’s Georgia Steel is reportedly being mentored by Mark Wright as she plans to be the next big star to crack America. 

According to The Sun, Mark has been giving Georgia advice on what should be her next career move following her decision to leave the villa with beau Sam Bird last week.

Since her departure from the villa, Georgia has made numerous appearances with her now-boyfriend Sam, defending her decision to kiss Laura Anderson’s boyfriend Jack Fowler despite repeatedly claiming she’s ‘loyal.’

A source told the publication: ‘Mark has offered to give career advice to Georgia and to help her where he can.

‘Obviously Mark has been hugely successful in American and that’s something Georgia looks up to a lot.

‘I think Georgia loves Mark’s career route and it’s something she’d want for herself.’

In the past year, Mark has been making a name for himself in the United States, presenting celebrity news show Extra in Los Angeles alongside actor Mario Lopez.

The former TOWIE star reportedly got in touch with Georgia through a mutual friend, and thinks she can make a name for herself across the Atlantic as well as in the UK.

Meanwhile Georgia made a dramatic exit from the villa last week alongside Sam Bird after refusing to stay uncoupled from him.

Since their departure the couple made their relationship official on Good Morning Britain, although Georgia has struggled to escape the shadow of her kiss with New Jack/ Jack Fowler.

During an appearance on Wednesday’s Capital Breakfast, Georgia awkwardly clashed with  host Roman Kemp live on air as they discussed the controversial smooch.

‘I did not remember it the way that I saw it,’ the dumped islander, who prides herself on her loyal attributes, admitted.

Prompted to that moment, Georgia defended herself: ‘100%, completely get why people thought I was lying but I went back in that villa and I did not remember it the way that I saw it.

Roman dismissively responded with: ‘Hmmmm, yes…’ to which she bit back: ‘Oh yeah whatever!’
